A friend of mine just got his girlfriend pregnant, and like all young couples in the situation, they are getting married before the baby is born.

Both still in school and don't make great money.

I grew up with the guy, we had the same views on marriage(Dont marry before 25. He just turned 22). Same views on kids. We would laugh at "young" families for being idiots, kinda sad he is joining them.

He has been with the girl for a little over a year, and they have broken up about 9 times.(No joke). All of his friends can't stand the girl.

What a waste.

Not trying to judge.....but breaking up so many times isn't a good sign at all. There must be a good reason for that and also when friends don't like her, that isn't a good sign either. Getting married doesn't make things better, it makes things worse when all isn't right to begin with.

1. Of course it isnt a good sign, we tried so hard to get him out of the situation in the past, but she always managed to snatch him back.(KB and Awitty would consider him "weak" if you know what I mean.)

2. We all have great reason to not like her, she has tried so many times in the past to get him away from his friends(Previous thread about it somewhere). She is the controlling, psycho bitch type.

Reads his text messages, has his myspace password, constantly asks "who is on the phone", "who is that",etc etc.

3. Things should get ugly.....

I'll never understand the rush to get married once pregnancy is discovered, shit it isn't the early or mid 1900's. So when they get married and then divorced, he'll have to pay child support on top of alomony. A buddy of mine did this and is now paying about 2k a month ALONE in alomony...I can't imagine paying child support on top of that. Shit his ex-wife doesn't even work!!! Why would she?!

Tell your friend to wise up and wait, what the fuck is the rush for?!? Broke up 9 times?!

UPDATE: I went to dinner with my friend, we talked about everything. I told him good luck, but didn't reveal my true feelings.(i.e he is fucked).

And guess who shows up? The bitch knows I hate her and she still shows up. I kept things civil for my friend, or else I would have left on a dime.

What a fucking waste.

I might not get invited to the wedding, but if I do, should I go?(I dont think I want to).
