You can always call companies like Blue Cross Blue Shield, Fortis, American Medical and ask for rates, or you can call up insurance brokers in your area who will collect that info for you. Then you can compare between brokers for best rate.
There are a couple things you can do to reduce your monthly premium. By selecting a high deductable, which only applies to major medical (hospitalization) you decrease the premium. We set ours at 10,000 because if something major happens to us, 10K won't be hardly ANYTHING compared to the total medical bill. This brings our monthly premium to about $200 for 2 adults and a child. If it had been a $1,000 deducatable it would've been closer to $400 a month.
The second thing is to opt out of maternity coverage. This alone can reduce your premium on the lady. Child bearing age women are EXPENSIVE!
