I have`nt been to a commercial gym in a long time so this may be already out. If so, disregard...
Leg Press machine, What`s the deal with people putting 10 16 20 freaking 45 pounders on there and having to strip them back off? We all know we`re gonna do it, why not have the weight already on the machine. On the side of the machine you would have long plates attatched to it with holes in them for pins. There would be about 20 plates on each side, they could be very thin (1/2 inch) because they would run parallel with the machine. You just slide the pin to the amount of weight you want to use and THAT`S IT! YES it`s now a selectorised weight stack! So what??? Why go looking for 15 45 pounders and put them back every time you`re doing legs.
It will cost more for the unit but well worth it. Great for drop sets. Leaves all the other plates free for the rest of the gym.
