Well...that is it. Doing overheads today was exciting to say the least...but I still set a few PR's and even got 225, 275, 315x5 on the Inclines.

I think that I am going to add in 2 sets of Reverse hypers either EVERY day or at least 5x per week to strengthen and rehab my lower spine/tail bone. I also need to add in some more hip work to help get rid of this hip pain in my right hip...

6 Events after lifting...and I am glad that I don't have to do it again till next Sunday...can't wait!!!

thanks for postin .......now i gotta get to where i can shoot my hips good enough so the stone goes up there w/o rollin it over the lip like that. i need to get more hip thrust when i do them. also need to work on keepin my elbows down during the gms.

and congrats on the pr's today clint. is sun the only day you train grip? just wonderin bc i thought bout training it 2-3x/wk. do u think that would be overkill?
 
Great job everyone. Those are some intense videos.

I like how kingc almost didn't know what to do after loading the 185. It's like it hit him, 'Oh yeah, there's another stone to do.'

That was a hell of a training day for everyone. Is everyone else as sore as I am? Yes, you're right, Clint. Conditioning work isn't always fun.
 
everyone looked strong and even conditioned.... Brutal workout guys keep it up cause you never know somewhere there is someone training as hard or even harder

funny thing...i kinda forgot all about the fact that i havent even gotten the 160 to the platform and i just went straight for the 185, and i didnt really think about getting the 190 till clint said...only 5 more lbs.lol.

I think that you can train grip 3x per week...but not in the same way or with the same intensity. Crushing grip, static grip, finger strength, timed holds with a bar, hanging, pinch grip, etc...

I do something 2-4x per week...with varying intensity...

Ohh...and Cheese is back for the semester:)

I loved your jump technique on the 190. Just watching the video made me wish I was there so I could have been yelling for you.

His form has fallen off a bit and his conditioning on the events are down...and he is down about 5-7 pounds too..

I must admit that kingc_79 has the strangest form I have yet to see in the stones for getting them on the platform (however, it works). Sorry if I have been away. I just recently moved back from the New Orlean's area and have been busy settlling in. I would have posted earlier but the school's internet is down and just came back up. I hope everyone is well.

Looks like you guys had a great day, wish I could have been there. I'm so proud of King he's really workd hard with that 185 stone and finally got it and then the 190 on top of that. Keep pushing him Bfold!
