600 Sled Drag for 75'...it was NOT fun!!!! My legs were on fire and so were my lungs. You can see that my sled is much harder to pull than most...it leaves drag marks into the driveway too...lol. LOTS of friction!!!!

550 Conan's Wheel. My biceps were giving out a little bit from what I can tell. It eventually is falling out of my hands and I need to find a much better hand placement when I do these. Wearing some type of arm sleeve to help hold the bar in place would help too. I really feel that I can make 4 turns with this weight in the future...I need to.

How do you hold the bar when you do your front squats? On your shoulders or in your hands, olympic lifting 'rack' style?

Nice work as almways man - to be consistently PR'ing after training as many years as you have is awesome :)

The harness pull in my driveway is lots of fun. It burns your quads, calves, and lungs. About 1/2 way it starts to go uphill a bit...makes it much harder. This was not a good run for him.

I think that Cheese nearly made a full turn with 550 on the Conan's Wheel...

still more to come...

Jason hadn't been doing squats for a few weeks (I had no idea) and he hit them pretty hard on Friday. He did not have a great workout today but still hit a few PR's... Good things to come for this guy for sure!!!!

370 SLDL PR!!!!

He made many trips with the farmers and even used a record 240 in each hand today (with his THICK handled farmers). He went about 60' feet today with them...PR!!!!

The 675 tire was rough on him today..but he fought it for 2 HARD sets...lots of heart in this man. Heart leads to greatness.

We decided to work on the stones in sequence but with lighter stones than what is used in a contest. It is much different than just doing one stone.

160, 185, 190, 230 (miss), 265 (miss)
230, 265, 185, 190

All in all, I think that we will all three be VERY sore tomorrow. My legs are shaking from the stiff legged deads and the sled drag. I still have more PR's to set and goals to meet before July though... Work now, the PR's will come.

Enjoy...

Dangerously Cheesy

Yeah...he was hoping that it would help him on the harness pull today...didn't quite pan out for him though. Maybe it will help him to emit the 'M' waves though...

shaky legs and all...cheese showed a lot of heart! I thought he was going to puke after pulling the Suburban! and way to fight through that second SLDL rep! B, you just make it look to easy!

I've never done anything like this stuff before, but it always gets me pumped up! Way to go guys!

becareful B, you dont want to stand to so close to Cheese when he starts shooting those things out, he hasnt learned to control the "M" waves yet.

the crazyness

i'm a big fan of this jason...hopefully he'll be training with you for a while. I like watching your partners progress just as much as i like watching you.

you wouldn't happen to have video of anyone flipping the tire that day would you? Especially from the same angle that the pics were taken?

B fold: is it just me, or does it look like you've gained some size?

Always cool to see the pics of your Sunday trainings! Very motivational!

Cheese always gives it his best. Always. He feels like he cheats himself, me, the gym, and the love of the sport if he doesn't. Never quitting is what Strongman is about...where can you put your body when it says to stop. When you see that finish line yet your heart/lungs/legs are begging you to stop...what does your mind say? Your heart and mind want you to go a little farther...just so you can say that you finished...

We only did singles on the SLDL's...we have to deadlift the weight up before we can still leg it.

We always yell at each other. Sometimes we can't hear each other but we just FEEL that someone is there yelling for us.

great work as always - you guys are intense! love seeing the pics and vids each week. keep up the hard work!
