Another Dextrose Question :(

I've got this huge ass 11 lb. jug from Supplement Direct. In another thread a couple months ago someone said the nutrition label on the Supplement Direct Dextrose has been wrong for a long time and they've never bothered to correct it.

Now I have a panic attack everytime I dip into the jug, wondering if I'm dipping out 10g, 50g, 100g?

Can anyone help me?

Do you have any other scoops? Just take one from your whey or protein powder and use it to measure your dextrose....that one should be accurate.

Is 1/2 cup a dextrose a good idea to take post-workout? I heard that too much and the remainder will be stored as fats.

Just as everyone's caloric intake differs by size/experience/metabolism/ancillaries/etc., so does the consumption of this product. The key is to find out how much is good for YOU, and not anyone else. The 1/2 cup measurement I listed is a reference point for measurement, nothing more.

Thanks to everybody. I love this place.

I have the same bucket and just went out and bought a small measuring cup to use just for my dextrose. I measure a little less than a half a cup. I think 1/3 cup is around 50-55 gr.

yeah, SC said 1/2 cup = 75g, so that means a full cup would be 150 grams, so 1/3 cup would be 50 g, so that sounds like you're right on in measuring that.
