Androgel 1%? Anyone ever used?

Hey guys, I had blood work done and my testosterone came up real short of normal. I had been off my last cycle about a month and a half, anyway my doc prescribed Androgel 1% 7.5 x 6 each day. Just wondering if anyone used it and what did they get out of it.

IM is better. tell him you are worried that you will get it on your girlfriend and she is very very very concerned about this. Tell him you know how to give IM injections and would prefer this route.

More and more Doc's are prescribing Clomid. Androgel will bump you a little but having the script for Clomid could be more useful later on if you were planning on self-medicating.

Agreed. Androgel is also a pain in the ass -- timing it every day. It equals between 50 -100 mgs a week at ten times the price.

Clomid would not be a good alternative.

Let's take a step back here guys...

First, what was your last cycle (and how long); what was your P C T like (and how long)?

Was bloodwork done 1.5 months after the cycle or after P C T?

Did you only get total test measured or free test as well? How about L H and F S H?

Also, how old are you? What's your cycling history?

Give us some more info then we can tackle the HRT part (I can help you there for sure)

Excellent idea, I will do that. Here in HI gear is not so much limited as it is exspensive as hell. Even though what the doc prescribes will not be much, sometimes, something is better then nothing. Thanks

Thanks for all the good ideas guys, much appreciated. I have gotten on US Pharma sus since the Androgel and now I'm on both. My last blood test showed that my testosterone level is back up, but not to where I would like it to be at. Could you believe that after a 5 month long cycle and a month and a half to two months later my test level was 7! Yes 7 out of a 254-1100 being normal to high. Now, tow months in I'm at 514. I'm taking 2cc of US Pharma sus per week and down to 3 d-bol per day, due to again, lack in availability in gear down here. Anyway, I gained 10lbs back and I will be switching to test-400, eq-300, and hopefully tren-propinate here in a week or two. I have to be careful because now my doc monitors my test levels and if I shoot up to high he will know that it isn't just androgel causing my high test levels. I told my doc that the reason my levels got up that high was because as soon as I found out how low my test level was I took matters into my own hands. My doc told me screw that, if your going to use anything like that you should get it from me because it's not off of the street. Good and bad I guess. That is my Androgel story in full. Again thanks for the feed back.

I think you get the gist on Androgel by now so I won't beat a dead horse on the effectiveness of that.

If your doc insists on you using a topical, you should know that he can have a pharmacist create a topical with double the dose of Androgel and about a tenth the price.
