Anchoring Bands

Can someone tell me the best way to anchor bands with this type of bench:

And this type of power rack:

Db's on the bench, and Db's on the squat rack/ you could also put the safety pin through one end of the band and then run the band underneith a db to get more tension.

Thanks, Jager. What weight dumbell do you think it would take to anchor a mini band? What about a light band?

Doubled minis on bench need around 90# DBs. If you use 2 DBs, just make sure the sum is around that 90#s.

For light bands on Squat I'd just choke them around the base of the power rack. If you use DBs, 120's atleast. As long as they dont move around.

By the way, nice bench! I wish I had one.

For doubled minis on bench I've gone as low as 50's w/o a problem. Only difference is with 90s, the bells never move an inch. But with 50s, they'll roll when you take the bands on and off (if you're training with a partner using different tension) or if you accidentally kick them or something. But if you have to drag the bells across the whole gym like I do -- 50s or 60s will work.

How can I choke them around the base of the rack? All the bottom bars are flat on the ground.

I wish I had one too! I lift at my school's gym. They dont have a bench exactly like that, but similar.
