I've heard different stories concerning the level of heta toxicity possessed by anavar. What is the real scoop here. Have any of you had your liver values checked while on a long anavar cycle? I've got access to raw materials, temporarly, at a great price and am thinking of making enough to run a 12-16 week cycle of it, however the potential for liver damage does concern me, so I would love to have some ligitimate information on the subject rather than just hearsay from those who may or may not really know what they are talking about. Thanks for any infor you can give guys.

It does not say in the PDR that you have to limit the time you take oxandrin and the therapeutic dosages are up 25 mgs a day.

It does say to periodically test enzymes however

I am running anavar at about 40mg ED.

Here were my precycle and wk 5 (last Friday) values:

Enzyme......PRECYC....NOW

ALT.............22............24 (ref: <45)
AST.............23............20 (ref: <45)
GGT.............24............7 (ref: <75)
ALK Pho......60............45 (ref: 45-125)
Bilirubin.......,6............,8 (ref: ,2 - 1,3)
Albumin......4,6...........4,3 (ref: 3,7 - 5,2)

Cholesterol is a mess though...

Thanks bro, are you stacking anything else with it, or just the anavar. My liver values would be alot worse than that 5 weeks into a winstrol cycle at 40 mg ed. So, it at least suggest that the hepa toxicity is lower than that of other 17-aa steroids. Anyone else have actual blood work on this?

You can run anavar <60mg for a long, long time. AST, and ALT vaues will not go up by any appreciable amount.

Its your Chol/lipid levels you have to worry about.

1. Guggulsterones 180mg/day(Normal) or 120mg Synthetic E-Z
2. Novaldex at 10mg/day(Will improve lipid levels)
3. Garlic at 1g/day(For low HDL)
4. Green tea(40+% ECGC) 1g/day

And I'm currently testing out a supp that is very promising for chol control, so Ill keep you up-dated. But those 4 will improve your chol levels while on Ox or Test/Ox dramatically.

Thanks Fonz, and yes keep me updated. I always run nolva on non-aromatizing cycles. Cholesterol is a concern for me because of the history of major heart problems in my family. My dad was 32 years-old at about 12% bf when he had his first one.
Was thinking of running 50 mg of anavar for 12-16 weeks with 50 mg tren ed and 600 mg eq. Maybe throw in some proviron, and maybe some winny for the last 6 weeks. I don't know yet though. We'll see what happens when I get closer to the spring though.

Yes, forgot to mention that I am stacking with CYP as well. Also running aromasin for anti-e and taking Tyler's Liver Detox 3x a day (1 pill 3x).

If you have a familly history then I would go with a safer stack. OX isn't going to be good for your lipid profile, Tren won't either and winny....I assume you will have various blood work before starting the cycle?

I have bloodwork done periodically. Already having elevated bloodpressure on my current stack. ::sigh:: time for a little lasix again. I'm pretty sensitive to sodium and its affects on water retention and blood pressure. I have to keep a close eye on my blood pressure, but I usually manage to keep my lipid profile in check. My diet and the nolvadex help. I do only clean bulks now, and that seems to help with my cholesterol.
