Anavar daily?

Hi guys,

My sport is mountain biking, and I'm considering an Anavar cycle to increase strength and endurance. My question is is whether var should be taken daily if I'm only training four days a week. I ride Wed, Fri, Sat, & Sun - I'm off Mon, Tue & Thur due to work. I was considering 20mg 2 hrs. before each ride (that's .25 mg per kg of wieght for me).

Is there a reason orals should be taken on rest days? It almost seems like a waste.

Wisely spoken but i think that such an amount of AAS thats so little wont do you much bro. I think and its just my opinion, that, if you use only so little you will shut off your natural test (or maybe not, what do i know) and lose muscle, that would be a given as you only doing cardio (biking). If you arent looking to bulk up and gain a lot of strength i would recommend you do something along the lines of:

Anavar 25mgs to 40mgs daily (its expensive)
Masteron 200 mgs 2 x a week
Vinstrol 100mgs EOD

As i said, this is just an opinion..........................best of luck on your cycle (both AAS and bike)

needs to be taken everday, you will probably see some results with 20mg, but would be better with 30-40+. do you hit the gym? have diet in check?
do you know what PCT is?

he wont completely shut himself down with 20mg, his body will lower its natural release according to how much androgens he has in his system in order to try to normalize.
i think masteron might be a little harsh for a first time. (not that i ever tried it)
 
You will still have some shutdown from this, you WILL need pct. Even if only for a short time and low dose.
 
for a sport like that , i would consider not doing any aas and finding a good ephedrine caffeine stack and using it prior to training, almost all AAS will cause ur muscles to "pump" which is very uncomfortable when participating in endurance sports, i would only consider winstrol and u even have to watch that as it cause cramping if u wanna run winny do so at 50mg ed or eod and make sure u are not de hydrated or ull cramp

Anavar only cycle? if you're a woman, that's a good cycle, but you're not a woman. Thus, I suggest a Test base, like enan or prop + anavar.

I am a MTB racer also and just posted something like this.
I went w/Mr.X advise You need more then VAR....
Last summer I did the Winny only.....MISTAKE .... PUMPS were horrible and I was totally SHUT DOWN!!!!!

This spring I am running EQ/Test-Prop/Var
At VERY low doses compared to some of the bros on here.
Regardless use some test for maintance and have your PCT in order.
VAR = ED 40mg min thats my 2cc's and you still may get surpressed or even shut down on var, so I would add the test-prop as Mr.X stated......
 
Thanks a lot for the excellent tips everyone! It was the 8 hour half life that made me think it shouldn't be taken on a rest day. There'd be so little of that dosage left over on the next day that it didn't seem like it would have any performance affect.

BTW, one reason I had selected Var was that I had read it wouldn't shut me down. Is this not true? Here's a clip from http://www.steroidtips.com/anavar.htm that I had read:

Oxandrolone will not shut down a man's pituitary-gonadal axis. There is no evidence that it suppresses testosterone or sperm production, which is why it's the oral of choice when pyramiding off steroids.

It was because of this that I wasn't considering any PCT. Perhaps this is old info, and I should be looking at a PCT ?

I chose the low dose because I really want to keep my weight increase to a minimum. I need better muscle and cardio endurance, and better strength in my legs, but too much additional size and weight could be a problem. I was hoping the var, protien diet, creatine - jogging, biking, & squats combination would be a good approach. I've considered using Primobolin Depot as well (http://www.steroidtips.com/primobolan.htm), but thought I'd ease into this with a mild oral first.

Thanks again for the great info. I'll look into the Test, Winy, & Eq, and consider bumping up the var a bit too.

I disagree, I have done some pretty heavy cycles in the past and my favorite overall cycles are still 45mg Var ed only (taking into account long term health, side effects, solid gains, fat loss)
 
I've used Var @ 20mg/ed for sports applications and was very happy with the results. I could definitely tell the difference on race days, while sparring, and during sprint workouts. Not saying that it'll work like that for you, but that's how things went down for me. Good luck.
