Anavar/Creatine, started yesterday!!!!

Hey I started anavar/creatine yesterday. My stats are 5 8, 165lbs, 8%BF. I'm running 40mg/day for 6 weeksof the var and 2-4g of creatine post workout. IP 10mg. My daily intake is 1870 cals and consists of 20%fat/35%carbs/45%protein. My goals on this cycle are no matter what to gain strength. I need to get a higher bench and clean&jerk. I workout 3 times a week; Mon,Wed,Fri. I do cardio or try to on Sat&Sun 1hour of running,boxing(speed bag), and jump rope. I need to gain strength, but at the same time stay my weight and maybe even drop some more BF% to get some cut abs. If the abs thing doesn't happen fine I just want the strength does this sound good or should I alternate something. If I'm on a workout that should bring my bench up 40lbs+ in 6 weeks, What type of increase should I receive while on the var?????Thanx will intake anyone's advice.


What If I was to take 2g of creatine in the morning with 20mg of var and 2g creatine after workout. I take my var 20mg in the morning and 20mg 30 min before afternoon or early evening workout.
 
What are you training for strength for? Is it absolutely necessary you maintain a weight for a weight class? CYcle looks fine for strength, but your diet and cardio are going to be a big impediment for you.
 
sk* wouldn't more than that put water weight on me(alot of it) well If I do run more will it all go away later but I stil keep the strength.
Beezer I'm a PL for my high school. And yes it's neccessary for me to keep in my weight class. What do you mean by my diet will be an impediment and cardio????not sure exactly what your telling me:confused:

Aerobic training is the antithesis of anaerobic training. You're telling your muscle fibers and nerves to do two different tasks at the same time and ultimately both will be comprimised. As far as diet. The more resources you give your bosy to repair and strengthen muscle tissue as well as ample glycogen stores provide for increased strength performance. All you can train for strength wise is nuero-muscular efficiency and an upgrading of muscle fibers being activated by nerve endings. That will lead to improved strength, but it only goes so far. After that strength is reliant on muscle hypertrophy which means gains in weight. You have to maintain weight though so you simply have to rely on training your nervous system to it's extreme. There's no need for more than 5g of creatine per day and it will cause intracellular water retention so you will gain some weight. Basically it's up to your brain and not your body to produce the force necessary for a maximal lift.

Beezers, dude i love your vocabulary honestly, but I didn't understand one thing you said break it down in simple english for me please :D I only understood 5g of creatine is enough and I will put some water weight on thanx.
 
Cardio interferes with strength. More calories=more strength.
Your nerves can only tell your muscles to lift so much weight so many times before you have to grow more muscle to handle a greater load.
 
Oh, forgot. And that more muscle you would have to grow to continue strength improvements would increase your weight.
 
Aigh man I think I'll lay off the cardio and only do it if one day I cheat, you know those days where everything looks good so you eat it. Then on a non-lift day of that same week I'll do the cardio, other than that I'll keep resting to gain strength. So how much cals should I intake so I won't gain much weight I'll worry about taking some off later although I can't put on more than 5lbs give or take few without losing too much strength. I've experienced it before already and it sucks.
 
For a hard training athelete of your size (165) I would say no less than 2500 cals daily. Even though you aren't trying to gain weight you still need to give your body ample resources(food) to repair itself after a workout. 1800 cals is in my opinion is dangerous for a serious lifter. Your body will break down at a rapid pace and strength will ultimately decline as overtraining iminently sets in. Your imune system will weaken dramatically and you'll be vulnerable to illness and injury. Anavar won't influence drastic weight gains, yet it's effects on strength are rather powerfull. This means your body will be performing at a higher level and will need nutrients at an expanded rate and quanity. Moniter your weight weekly of course to see if you're maintaining a stable bodyweight. A pound or two may be unavoidable, but that shouldn't be a problem. Remember to be WELL hydrated as it plays a vital role in strenght performance. Drink a lot of water(2-3 gallons daily) to stay hydrated. As you said. "I'll keep resting to gain strength". Very important that you do so. Take rest seriously or your progress will suffer. Get your sleep. I know in high school that's hard, but be dedicated and you'll be rewarded. 8-10 every night and nap in the afternoon if you can. Good luck young grasshopper and hoist the big iron!
 
hey thanx alot man. Since I know how to calculate my own diet I'll do it tonight so I can start it tomm. I'll try and bump it up to a good 2300-2500 cals a day. Honestly I can't eat that much and I eat 5 times a day imagine. And I will love to see myself grow in strength on this I can't wait til week 3 when it really kicks in. Is it true about the creatine with grape juice for glucose or is it a myth. I drink mine with water. And I drink more than 3 gallons of water a day love it trust me. I know water=strength so I get all I can from it. Thanx again
 
Creatine when ingested with a high GI carb like maltodextrin, dextrose, or sucrose supposedly leads to greater intake of the creatine by the muslce cells via the insulin spike. The insulin theoretically transports the creatine to where it needs to be, the muscles, better than if there was no accompanying spike in insuliin levels. I would avoid grape juice however.
 
Oh, I see, I should've known that. This is particularly interesting to me because I need a good strength cycle for my grappling (Jiu-Jitsu) and also boxing. I may try this cycle you're doing also. Do you notice any sides at all from the Anavar? Also, do you have a creatine preference. The only thing I hate about the creatine is all the damn sugar that usually comes along with it. Other than that I don't know too much about it. I'd appreciate any insight you could provide.
 
hey man well i've only been on it two days now. I've seen headaches, stomache aches, some chest pain, I feel more sore than i normally do. On top of that I use twinlab creatine and at the moment I'm taking 2g pre workout 2g post workout with water. Anything else you wanna know bout it just ask or PM me.
 
Gatorade would be fine. It's sucrose for the most part. We need to work on your vocabulary young man. Are you familiar with the glycemic index(GI)? George has a GI list here under news/articles I think. Post your diet when you get it written up.
 
Hey man thanx for the reply honestly i know it sucks but my lil bro that's 14 knows more about this stuff than I do. he's the one who came up with tha gatorade idea. And bout the vocab i know i gotta work on it and i'm tryin but i'm outta school right now so i don't worry bout it vacation time you know. Hey bro up the creatine to 15g/day take some glutamine also 10g/day, I am currently taking 100mg IP Var/day and the shit is working wonders on the strenght and I am only into it about 3 weeks,, I have gained a few lbs already but it is starting to slow down.....
 
hey man 100mg/day I know that after 80 you start crappin out on gains you might wanna reduce that some. You won't see any diff past 80mg/day your just wasting $ and your killing your liver.
 
OK changed my diet today and intake. I'm now intaking 2300 cals a day 13%fat/38%carbs/49%protein. I'm eating about 5-6 times a day now when I eat 5 times it's because I know I won't have time for the day and eat two meals in one always before working out or at the very start of my day. I am also taking 2g creatine with gatorade in the morning with the var. And 2g of creatine with gatorade after my workout on lift days and with the 2nd dose of var on non-lift days.

Symptons so far passing gas you DO NOT WANT TO BE ANYWHERE NEAR ME WHEN I DO, I feel that my toughest job is too EAT i hate eating now but know I have to too get stronger, I havn't had many headaches today just a couple stomache aches, and have been in the shitter about 4 times already not a pretty smell. I did take before pics and plan on taking after pics at the very end will post.

...If there is anything I should change let me know will take any advice and consider it. Thanx
 
I was under the impression that AS was suppose to help you recover from soarness????? I lifted yesterday and I can't even move today. It took me 20 minutes to get outta bed I was soo Soar. Can anyone explain??????? And when I eat the first three bites are fine. After that I can't even stand taking another but I know I have to. What is up with that?????
 
I wouldn't drop the cardio all together, I would just reduce it.

No need to do an hour of cardio two days a week.

I would drop it to something reasonable like 20 minutes, three times a week.

Jump on the stationary bike and spin a little. Get a good sweat going, and then jump off, stretch out a little and go home.
 
Creatine 5 grams in the am and 5 grams post workout with a carb that has a high glycemic index and some alpha lipoic acid. You probably won't become inefficient with the water weight, but that will depend on how you normally respond to the stuff.
 
Switch to the effervescent(ionic delivery)creatine,and get in about ten grams/day.I would recommend the new Met-Rx creatine/glutamine ionized delivery product.You will get very little bloat(which by the way is caused more by the massive amounts of simple carbs that are part of most creatine formulations rather than the creatine itself)and have a much higher absorbancy rate.That is an awesome combination(creatine/var)by the way.
 
The nuromuscular efficiency that Beezers was refering to brings up a good point. If you look at a force-velocity curve, you can manipulate the angle of q, which is your starting strength, which would be beneficial for your bench, and your angle of a, which is explosive strength, that would be beneficial for your clean. In other words, you can increase your strength without having to increase your body weight by making your movements more efficient. This is reflective of speed in the formula f=ma, suggesting that a simple thing like selecting the right tempo, or incorporating varying tempos in your training, can be exactly what you're looking for.
 
Thanx for the replys guys. I'll throw in cardio maybe twice a week for 20 min or so on a day that I don't feel too tired or feel like doing it.

I'll bump up the creatine a little to 5mg twice a day before and after and see how my body responds to it. By this I mean weight increase or bloat.

I would love to take efervescent, but I have so much of this twinlab creatine that I can't get rid of. On top of that I found an article in a Testasteron mag saying that the most efficient type of creatine was efervescent and right next to it a step down was the Twinlab:D .

Hey guys Day 5 on the var and some change well i stil have my cold that hasn't gone away but I feel that by monday it should be completely gone. This morning I ate breakfast and normally the past 4 days I've been like DAMN I have to EAT I HATE EATING well I ate this morning and I thought I could have ate all 2,300 cals in one meal. My appetite opened up a little. I bumped up the creatine to 5g 2 servings a day(10g total). And I stil havn't felt any pumps I'm gonna go lift now I'll let you know how I do. Thanx


Did anyone know anything about the boxing(speed bag) if that counts for my cardio day, will it bring up my bench b/c speed=strength. I'm going by that in my workout. Thanx again.

Var usually curbs your appetite a bit so you might have to force yourself to eat at times.

But theres nothing else to eat in Miami :(

Oh and its the anavar thats makin it so hard to eat. Try to get some calories with the protein drinks at the gym. Pure Protein is like 50g protein and 200 or so Cals... a lot easier to get down than a piece of pollo when ya cant eat.

True bro, thats why you stack it with a little EQ and you will have to TRY to make yourself stop eating....LOL. I will be trying that very same anavar very soon.

Well I've been forcing myself to eat really just not today for some reason.

I'm trying to just eat the chicken when mom makes it and I eat about 3 breasts(26g protein each).

The var tabs are really small and a pale yellow they almost look off-white. I would have stacked it with EQ but I didn't think my appetite would go down soooo much.

about the protein shakes I drink the Isopure shakes 50g protein each they're pretty good. Choc PB

Thats good too but I was talkin about the ones that are like juice... I think scientific labs makes the most common ones. Sometimes even a shake is hard to get down if its thick. At least for me it is.
 
doing the same cycle but i try to take it all in during the morning. from what i understand it effects your htpa less this way.

i'm loving this cycle btw
 
the shakes tend to go down very easy for me I blend them real well.

Magilicuti: what day of the cycle are you on. Curious to see when I will see strength increase.

Day 6 and the shits are back, My appetite so far is tremendous don't know why I ate a sandwich, drank a protein shake, and I can still probably eat some more. I'll let you know how the rest of the day goes. About the soarness I'm a little soar, but not as bas as yesterday(yesterday was leg/back/bi day).
 
Cubanito, how has everything affected you?? Have you had any strength gains yet? I"m going to be on the same cycle in about a week., and would like to know when you actually started feeling the affects of the Var.

Hey so far I havn't seen any strength gains but I'll tell you one thing last night I got in a fight. And DAMN I'd never felt so pumped in my life I was fighting and normally I box so I know how I fight but this was a street fight at the beach with some fucking bitch that was running his mouth I loved the pumps and the fact that I knew I was on this stuff was great too because when I'd get hit it was like nothing.

I am starting week four of Avavar/Creatine cycle..... Gained about ten lbs from week 1 to 2, and not gaining any more though.. Probably the creatine... One thing for sure though my strenght is really kicking in,, I only thougth it was last week...... The pumps are unreal.. Did shoulders and triceps the other day and my freaking triceps stayed pumped all night,, kinda hurt.... I started off at 40 mg/d, but am up to 100mg/d now... A lot of people say this is a waste but I can tell the difference....... This strenght is like that when taking Anadrol but without the agression and sides.................

Damn I can't wait til week 3 when it really kicks in that's what I've been told plus this is my first cycle. I've gained in 6 days I believe 2lbs but I dont want to gain weight but as long as strength is behind i'll get the weight off later. Thanx
 
Day 7 and I havn't had any headaches, have a little bit of stomache aches they've been spontaneous throughout the day and i've been in the shitter but only after I eat for some reason. Other than that can't wait til tommorow to hit the weights again. More than that I can't wait til week 3 to see strength kick in and really get pumped I might extend it(dosages by weeks) to 40mg/day for 7 weeks If I really like the pumps I have enough for it checked last night. Day 8 well I've been noticing something kind of weird. When I have to wake up in the morning there's nothing that wakes me up. But as soon as I throw some water on my face come downstairs and take my dosage I feel fucking wired. The appetite is really starting to kick in as I've seen and I've gained 3lbs, this is not a good thing in my case. But also I havn't eaten as clean as my diet says I should starting tommorow 2002 I'm saying fuck all sweets and going strict on the diet. Havn't had the shits. One thing though when I urinate it looks like I'm letting out GOLD. Is my liver getting fucked up??????

Depends on the amount of carbs you take in. If your on a cutting diet or restricting calories i would aim for about 600-800mg/day.
 
I LOVE THIS STUFF

Last week I was doing my lat pulldowns with a bit of a struggle using 120lbs for 8 reps. Today I did them with 135lbs for 8 reps. I'm seeing somewhat of a strength increase in my extra workouts along with that I feel that I'd be able to do more on bench but I only max out every 6 weeks or so. ONE MORE THING I'm starting to get more vascular I never had a vein across my chest and on my front deltoids, Well guess what I do now :D
 
Well starting Day 9 today I was pretty happy with yesterdays workout IT WENT GREAT. I started this week working out different I'm now doing a Mon,Tue,Thur,Fri split. About 45-60 minutes Fri is the longest b/c I have one more excercise inthere, that's all. I was wondering one thing for anyone who knows Will carb depletion for 3 days affect my strength while on anavar???? Say I have a meet on a wednesday and On sunday I start carb depleting and on Tuesday I start water dehydration(like drink water only when neccessary), but at all times keeping the protein high maybe even bump it up a little. Will I be able to lose roughly 10lbs by that wednesday if I start doing this on Sunday, but not lose strength if I'm still on the var?????

Any help is appreciated!!!!:)

You sound like you're having the exact same experiences I was on ox:

1. Total loss of appetite and gas pains.
2. No results first 2 weeks (which led to horrible overtraining).

Don't worry, the 3rd & 4th week the ox kicks in big time. For me the strength gains (+5-10 lbs *every* exercise, *every* week) kept happening after that. I ran out of ox before my strength gains plateaued.

The only advise I would give if you haven't heard it already: take some ox about 1.5 - 2 hours before your workouts for max blood levels. It won't make a damn difference as far as muscle mass gained, but it seemed to make my workouts even more intense.

Also, if you have no appetite (like I did) then you might try protein shakes or protein bars to eat throughout the day so at least you're getting some calories without having to eat a full meal.
 
hey man well here's the thing now it's like my strength I saw it go up somewhat but appetite is the same as before I started the ox so that's good. I know I feel more soar on this then when i wasn't even on it I can't wait til week 3 to kick in. I lift different times every day pretty much if I lift in the morning I take it maybe 1-1.5hr before and if I lift in the evening I've been taking it 30-45 minutes before I'll try and keep it 1.5-2hr before see how that works for me. About the shakes and bars I'm on them one shake and one bar a day to make up for two meals you know how that goes. Thanx man

Anavar is great when using a low calorie diet so if your depleting it shouldn't make a difference. The var will keep your gains and you'll actually get harder.

Day 10 I've been having some gas pains not much though since I started drinking more water I've been urinating more and it's GOLD. Well apetite is stil the same I'm eating all my calories somedays even more my weight is up to 170lbs this is not good in my case so I was wondering if the carb depletion would affect my strength any. Anyone know of this??????Thanx

Usually when I carb deplete I don't feel 100% for 3-4 days then I come back to feeling like normal. It also depends how long u will be depleting for.

I am currently at day 5 of my var cycle.

I scored some BTG :D and also some **, so I am taking both right now.

I gotta get some creatine and start taking it, but I have heard so many good things about the var that I decided to round out my cycle with them.

Shit, I may just end up extending my cycle (again...) just to stay on the var a little longer.

I am currently taking 20 MG of BTG and 20 MG of **'s.

Maxx; well I'll be depleting for a good 3 days then weigh in for my meet and after I weigh In i plan on drinking shit loads of water and carb bars like a powerbar and a gatorade bar=96g of carbs. But then about 30-45 minutes later is when I lift in 2 lifts a pause bench and clean&jerk.

Xbiker; sounds good to me man, I'll be posting on this thread til about Feb 13 when my cycle is completed and will follow up if anyone has any questions, hope to here from ya.

Anyone else know about strength and carb depleting.
 
Day 11 and stil have this fuckin cold does anyone know when the imune strengthening system part of this comes into play. And if the cold will affect my strength increase in week 3. Thanx. Well I havn't had much of an appetite today and I stil have 2 meals to go this is gonna be fun getting all of them in. Have been urinating alot it's stil GOLD hope my liver is fine.
 
Day 12 well my apetite seems to be changing from day to day, One thing I don't understand is why I can't go to sleep until round 1 or 2 last night it was 3 a.m. and I was stil awake couldn't sleep I thought the insomnia was over by the first week. Well along with that it seems the later it is in the day is when I'm MORE HUNGRY this isn't good b/c I was used to not eating anything past 8 and going to sleep at 11 now this is messing everything up, Not saying i'm gonna quit but just wondering. Well can't wait til week 3 when pumps start coming in, yesterdays workout was late and I went up on my DB press and DB skull crushers 5lbs for 8 reps that's pretty good in my book I moved up a whole set from 75lbs to 80lbs. Love this stuff.
 
Day 13 today is tha day I tried carb depleting I just want to say how many lbs I'll lose in a day this morning weighed in at 167lbs exact b/c I did it three times so let's see how much I lose tommorow morning I ate 300+g's or protien 25g of fat and 12.5g of carbs exact for a 1500cal diet. tommorow i'll carb back up after i weigh in appetite I dunno if i'm hungrier b/c of no carbs but i've been hungry will post again tommorow.
 
Day 14 well carb depleting yesterday only got me to lose 3 lbs I thought it was suppose to do more than that. About strength I can't wait til tommorow to lift b/c that's when week 3 kicks in it should be maximum strength. I'm carbing back up today but stil keeping my protein the same. My appetite seems supressed when I eat and I'm so full but I just keep eating and for some reason it opens up and after it opens up I can't stop eating. WHOA
 
Day 15 today lifting was fuckin awesome I went up 5lbs on my DB elbow out extensions and that is a hard lift to perform, went up 10lbs on my high pulls, 10lbs on side delts and I incorporate on speed bench and that was fucking easy for me. I love this stuff upset for one minor thing I've been in the toilet 3 times tonight alone. NOT GOOD.
 
Day 16, Man I love this stuff I've lost some weight already I was at 171lbs for some reason today I weighed in at 166lbs. My strength is still going up. My legs are just getting stronger by the day. My appetite is opened wide up and I seem to be losing weight. AWESOME.

One question with eating 2,400 cals a day is that enough for the strength to keep coming if I'm trying to maintain weight????Thanx
 
Day 17 Well I can't wait til tommorow to lift although today throughout the day i've seen so much vascularity for anything that i pick up. I upped the carbs a lil so I can get more energy and the protein is upped a lil more too. The fats actually went down b/c i quit takin flax oil(taste like shit). I'm going to try and max out the last day on the var and keep taking creatine I've decided.

Day 18 well I've seen that with my partner doing the var/creatine cycle I'm getting stronger than he is, but I'm eating more and not really gaining weight. I want to try and cut a lil fat so I will start doing cardio twice a week, maybe 20 minutes. If I feel it affects the strength increase then the heck with cardio. My diet is stil clean and cold is gone. I love the pumps really and almost go into another fight and I can feel the test just rising, but the kid when he saw me, started freakin and just backed up DAMNIT I would have loved to try this stuff out in a fight.

It really depends on you and your maintnance calories bro. If you feel that you are gaining wieght step back a bit on the cals or just pick up a little cardio. Its actually not too easy to try and maintain weight and get stronger, you really have to learn you body very well. Just keep at it and you will find what works for you best.

I love the pumps really and almost go into another fight and I can feel the test just rising....

How much test are you using and at how much?

Day 19 today I reached a point on DB hammer curls I've never done before I only used to be able to do 45lb DB's for a set of 6 well today I did them for a set of 8 and went to 50lb DB's and did those for 7 i failed when trying to go for 8 ( back was straight the whole time). I'm really loving this stuff.

M56M: What I meant about the test were my test levels I'm not taking any test with the var. And about the weight and cals thing I saw when doing no cardio and eating 1800 cals a day I was keeping strength just dropping weight. I guess I do watch a little how my body reacts to intake and cardio. I should watch it more carefully. Thanx
 
Day 20. DAMNIT I woke up with another cold this morning. I thought this was suppose to strengthen my immune system, am I wrong????? Well My appetite is still around and I think it's going to stay around. I couldn't wake up to do cardio, but oh well I'll worry about it another day. I feel that my waist(love handles) have gotten a little slimmer. And I'm thinking it's b/c of the creatine, but all day yesterday while lifting with friends they were all saying how my arms have gotten bigger, they were like "Look at the guns on him." It's great I love it.
 
Hey guys there is one thing I've been leaving out and I'm writing it now b/c it happened to me again 4 hours ago. Why am I having chest(heart) pains???? It's like all of a sudden it starts to heart on the inside and I get a headache is this a side effect????:confused:
 
Day 21. Well I can't wait til tommorow to lift and see how much I go up in pumps. Now I have a question concerning the diet if I was to go from 40g of fat/day, 200g of carbs/day, and 220g of protein/day and change this to a 30g/fat, 100-150/carbs, and 250g/protein a day to lose some weight and gain some muscle but stil have energy(carbs before workout) Would this in anyway at all affect my strength?
 
Day 23. I got behind yesterday so couldn't post but yesterday day 22 my tri extensions went up 5lbs that's great and my high pulls were alot easier loved it. For today Day23. I decided to start changing up my diet a little i'm now doing 260g of protein a day 35g of fat/day 150g of carbs a day. I decided to up the creatine to 30g/day. I loved the pumps today I feel that my cleans got faster and easier to perform can't wait to max out on all excercises 3 weeks from monday.
 
Day 24. man it's amazing how when you can't wait to start a cycle it seems so long but when your in it the time flies. I can't wait to lift tommorow and see how much I'm going to go up. All I did today was eat to be stronger tommorow.


Did anyone read those questions I posted earlier?????Can someone answer them, please.
 
Hey thanx man. Day 25. Well lifted today and my inclines went up 10lbs, DB Presses went up to a heavier set of 10 (5lbs)more. Delt raises seemed easier than normal. One thing I don't understand on the var I thought AS was suppose to help you recover, why am I feeling even more sore????? And why is my partner that is taking the same dosage as me and the same amount of food, not water either getting weaker or not seeing any strength pumps?????

I switched to efervescent before workout and am stil keeping my twinlab creatine for after as a recovery fuel.
 
Well it's natural that you are more sore. You will recover faster but because your workouts are more intense and your lifting more than you even have that you will hurt a little more.

Also i'm doing the same amount of var as you and i felt some chest pains also. Just squeezing pains when i breath in. I haven't lost much fat since i'm still bulking but my intensity and lifts have gone up considerably.
 
Hey cure sup, well what day of the var or week are you on and are you using IP????? I seem leaner and less fat when I'm somewhat dehydrated like when i dont drink water for bout 15 minutes.... I constantly drink water.
 
Day 26. Damn it's seems like now that i'm on this stuff I havn't been keeping my diet all that clean but i'm stil not gaining much weight or anything and am seeing a little more defenition in abs when i'm on an empty stomache. My lift day today was good I ended up with a set of 6 with 55lb DB's for alternating hammer curls, so my biceps are feeling it now.
 
Day 27. Well didn't lift today so I don't really have anything to brag bout the var. One thing that did change just for today was my diet today was completely off do to a BBQ at work, Pigged out.
 
Great post bro.....I tjeck in every day to see you progress since I'll be starting a simular cycle with a couple of month if everything goes well. I just can't wait ;)

Have you considered using grapefruit juice with the anavar?, it is supposed to increase the absorption rate.
 
I will be starting a similar cycle here shortly, when my stuff gets here. What are you thoughts about adding some winny in at some point in a cycle like this?? I have some left over and would like to incorporate it in somewhere any ideas?
 
ever considered doing a 50 day cycle of anavar at 100 mg ed, with 30 grams of creatine after worjouts with 8 iu of humalog rx right be4 u drink ur creatine??
 
Cerealkiller: thanx man I wanted to do this post everyday b/c when i wanted to start this cycle I wish someone woulda done this so I figured I would.I have thought of using grapefruit juice with var but I'm not really sure if I'll like the taste of the creatine and grapefruit juice.
ViperHMS: winny would be good to through I didn't do it b/c i'll be using clen after my anavar cycle, I'm on the cycle mainly to bump up strength but maintain weight which hasn't happened that well b/c I weigh 174 so I gotta cut 7lbs for a meet clen will help that. Thanx
parabolan: I did consider that but I didn't order enough to so I don't wanna risk ordering now and having to stop until the rest gets here although I am doing it now 40mg/day for 50 days, that's exactly how much I have.

Day 28. If I havn't mentioned it before I'm now doing morning var with efervescent creatine I take them together and after a workout 10mg creatine by twinlab. I stil havn't gotten my diet to stay clean but starting tommorow I'm going to clean it up for the rest of the cycle to get that fat cut a little and make sure strength keeps pumping.
 
Hey guys one thing do any of you know the half life on var????? How long does it take to get outta my system say for a drug test of any sort???? And when i get off of it am I gonna notice a big difference on my future gains without it even if I do my clomid after cycle????thanx
 
Thanks for the imput. I think the half life of var is 9hrs but I could be wrong. I'll do a search real quick and see if I can find out.
 
Well looks like the concensus says Anavar half life is 8 hours. What do you have to take a drug test for??
 
Viper: thanks man, I don't have to take a drug test but i was just curious in case because my work from time to time will give a random employee a drug test so I wanted to know if I'd be safe if they told me the day before or something.

Day 29. Today lifting was great. I really didn't go up on any lifts to tell you the truth, but I did have more of a pump and had more speed under the bench, to me that counts because I train for strength and to perfect speed. I've been noticing something on the var well today I actually noticed I have some acne, and my partner has backne:( he doesn't like it and keeps his shirt on at all times now b/c of it. As for what I've been noticing is in my diet, I tend to eat more on lift days then when non-lift days. This never really had an affect on my body before so I'm guessing the var does that I dunno.

Question?? If the last week on var I decide to throw in clen E O D will this affect the strength any. Thanx and if I do the clen it'll be from IP and 14days on 14days off of course.
 
Overall Progress

Hey Cubanito17, how would you say your overeall progress is. I have found your posts very helpful, but I am curious as to how much lean body mass you have added, and how much stronger you are as of right now?
 
Focoman: Hey bro sup well I seem to be leaner although I've put on weight most likely the weight is from the creatine, but I'm not looking to get leaner at the moment I'm 5 8 172lbs @ 8%BF so if more leaning out comes along I'm fine with it I mainly did this cycle for strength and since It's my first cycle I love it. All of my lifts have gone up so I'm saying for overall strength I'm doing good. Now max on bench I don't max out every week I do it every 6 weeks so I'll be maxing out in 2 weeks I'll post on here my new max as I post everyday on here. Maybe if I keep my diet really clean I'll lean out more, but when I'm not hydrated like at the beach today you notice my 8-pack when I'm well hydrated you can barely tell it's even their.

Day 30. Man the days go by so fast on this I remember when I was waiting for it too come in now I don't want it to stop. Today's lift was good I incorporate on Power Cleans so from time to time I have to do Power high pulls which are high pulls of the ground well I did 5 sets of 5 like I normally do but today they were with 135lbs man did I ever high pull that to the roof, my DB Rowing went up to 75lb DB for a set of 6 and that was great prior used to be 65lbs for a set of 6, curls went up to 105 for set of 8 barbell curling prior was 90 for a set of 8. I love this stuff and I did cheat my diet today but cheated good with subway.
 
Day 31. Well guys today I started eating clean all until dinner time 10 hamburgers from McDonalds couldn't help it got hungry on the way home from work and just didn't feel like cooking. On top of that I can't wait til tommorow to lift. I stil got the acne that started coming out, but it's really brief I'm not even worried about it.

Can anyone answer any of my past questions???????Please!!
 
I don't think that addind the clen would cause you to lose any of your strength as long as you keep working out like you are. I believe that clen also has some muscle sparing quailties so that should help you keep what you have gained if you begin to slow down. Day 32. Well today I switched up a little b/c of the 10 hamburgers last night I decided to do a lil cardio in the morning so I ran close to 2 miles well I think that messed me up for strength in my afternoon workout. I did lose weight and not water weight b/c I always stay hydrated, but I did rack lockouts today and I only got up to my max on lockouts didn't go passed it then when I did push presses its like a military press but exploding from legs then pressing up it's more of an olympic lift really but instead of going up I went down 5lbs. Did the strength stop kicking in already???????

Side note: I'm surprised I havn't received karma for this post yet maybe it'll come one day :rolleyes: .
 
Day 33. I can't believe it's almost over, but it's been worth it well todays workout went pretty good lifts did go up much and I felt sore throughout the whole workout that's probably why. I'm quitting cardio for life since I just found out that cardio turns test into estrogen. My diet is gonna get screwed tomm all day b/c I'll be at a fair so junk food here I come.
 
yes it was a fact that I read I know that bodybuilders do not believe in this and I respect them for it, but still in Powerlifting doing cardio turns test into estrogen b/c it takes away that energy and the levels in your body.
 
sorry you have been misinformed, bodybuilders do cardio, it all depends whether they are bulking or not ,some dont do cardio while bulking, do you think a precontestant bber sits around and gets shredded? Cardio is good at any stage of a cycle as long as you dont do too much and burn off too many calories while bulking, you will be counterproductive, it is good for the cardiovascular system also.
