ANAFIT ordering from Europe

Hi all,
I am trying to order AIFM at that ANAFIT website and ran in some odd things
here..

After placing my order online, they ask me too much personal information, for
verifying the billing information they say.
First they asked for photocopy of my credt card (front and back) and
a photocopy of my passport.
I called my bank and they said NOT to give that to anybody, especially
not a website where I filled in my card number and exp. date.
I told ANAFIT and gave them the correct telephone number to verify.
Now ANAFIT doesn't ask for the photocopies anymore, but for the card
holder's name and name of the bank.
Again with this known, ANAFIT could do everything with my personal information, including emptying my credit card. maybe they won't do such
things but it still doesn't sound good.

What I would like to know form you guys.. do you have the same problem?
Does anyone else in here come from Europe and have this problem?
Is it a problem? Lol

I just WANT some bottles AIFM! Isn't there another website that sells these things? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Let me guess you're using a credit card from one country, shipping the product to another country on a totally different continent. Not saying you did, but if you use a credit card number from someone in Spain to order product, and ship it to China, wouldn't you think that the company would go to extraordinary measures to make sure that's your card? Most websites wouldn't even touch that order. Let alone have customer service people spending so much time trying to help you.

I have purchased things from overseas and shipped here to the usa.
I have never been asked for a copy of the credit card or a copy of my passport.
I would never give anyone a copy of my passport.

However, I have everything shipped to the billing address of the credit card and that is available via AVS so that might make a difference.

I can understand that Anafit is very careful with international transactions, just like they are with any transaction. They are the one that will lose the money if the purchaser refuse the transaction or the credit card is stolen. I deal with this often in my job.

Hi thanks for the feedback. It was at www.anafit.com/shop,
I don't know about a european site.

I just found out it was probably because I placed my name in the name
fields during ordering, and used my girlfriend's creditcard numbers.
When Anafit called to bank to verify the card and it's holder, they heared
the names didn't match and the shit started.

I'll let my girlfriend send an email to them that it's indeed her card and
that she allows the purchase or something. Or cancel it and place a new
order.
