amp opener

most of you guys just use your thumb to break it open or do you use a ampule opener? I usually use my thumb but my friend gave me one of those ampule breakers made by health care logistics inc, I just used it and dropped the bottom 1/2 with my sus on the floor, my baby was just lying there, argggg.. I lost about 1/2 of that fucker...

Use a hammer.

i've never broken an amp this way, i score it with a nail file, roll it up in a rag tightly, grab the end with another rag and pull it right off

Hold the amp in the opener, turn the opener and use the cutting stone to scratch the amp and then just snap it off away from the scratch. It's easy once you get used to it.
