Never been much into credit cards, but now that I'm racking up a good amount of bidness expenses every month I figured something like this would make sense.

$450 annual fee is a bit steep, but I get a shitload of points if I spend $1,000 within the first 3 months - which I can do. Apparently a shitload of travel benefits too.

Anyone have experience with this particular card? Worth it or no? Just applied and was approved - should have the card in a week.

And this is not meant as a mememememe Gladiator bawlin thread. I'm really curious.

lol, sure

your just wanting to show us your paying 450 a year for a credit card, lol

Yes, $37/month is high rollin for sho...fit for only Sultans and tech billionaires.

well really most Americans pay a lot more then that each month.

Interest is a bitch

idk..i have an amex green and really like it...customer service is amazingly good...theyll make reservations for you even with just the green

really ballin would be a black tho...jus sayin

you gotta put 100k a yr through your card to qualify for a blaque...I think the annual fee is something obscene like 5k a yr..no bs

I'd say yes. My mom used one for years in her business, one arm of which is a RE brokerage and the other the RE investment side. It does works out to be profitable. The green doesn't provide enough potential perks, and the black is more about prestige than actual fiscal sense. Unless you're the working rich, or place a high premium on prestige, platinum.

yeah, FTR I've never even seen a amex black

and I'd agree with willows breakdown of the cards and benefits

I know a lot of ppl with amex gold that really like them and for the younger set the zync or blue

the green does what I want it to but my goto card is my navy federal cu cash rewards card..love that card but its my only 5 figure limit card too

Ive seen a blique or two in LA. Held by dutchbags at clubs.

Meh. Fucking persians.

lol

i got a plat card. although up here in canada mine has no yearly fee and all the benefits that i know of that i can get. travel, insurance, whatever else. i like it just because it makes me feel better than those who dont. although i think you have to make 80 grand a year to have one
