Why do all the Brits have bad teeth?

Each society has its own plague. Americans have obesity, Brits have poor dentition.

That commonly used stereotype is unique to the US, not sure where it originated from, probably an old comedy sketch? In the UK dental work is free on the NHS.

The stereotype is true. I've witnessed it while living there. It is weird how dental work is free there, yet they still have bad teeth.

Here in the UK they are constantly showing Obese people who ALL live in America.

People weighing in as much as 700 POUNDS worth of FAT, I know Macdonald Feeds you guys Super Size Meals.

Something they tried to introduce in the UK but we turned our backs to it and it never took off

I havent read this thread but isnt it quite obvious what causes obesity? poor nutrition and lack of exercise. its pretty simple.

or was this more of a rhetorical question and a thread made to poke fun at the US and an attempt to make your country look better?

Have we determined yet why Americans are fat, because then I will know what not to do so I can be skinny.

There's a lot of morbidly obese Americans but probably more of the best conditioned athletes in the world.
Can't find a good plate of steak and kidney pie anywhere How do you guys eat that?

lets see i have noticed this to, when i went through elementary and middle school there were a few fat kids, but not more then 5-6 in a class. Now i see half the damn class is overweight, its cause these kids don't go outside and do anything anymore, they sit inside and drink mountain dew, eat chips and play xbox all damn day and night.
