Am I ready for the gear?

New guy here, been reading the boards for a couple of week or so trying to soak up some info. I'm looking to do a mild cycle or maybe something with prohormones if it will yield less side effects (yes I know how you guys hate Prohorm's), and only one cycle only to gain some mass and strength. I'm not looking to ever be 230 or anything, or do more than one cycle. It seems most of the gains from the first cycle anyways.

I almost 23 years old and I have been lifting for 5 years. I'm currently 5-10 176 lbs with a 245 lbs bench 9-10% BF. Originally I was 128 pounds when I started. I've been at a standstill for a while now, while eating 4000 cals a day 45% carbs, 35% protein, 20% fat. I developed gynocomastia naturally at a later age (19) than most childhood gynocomastia only in one nipple though. I had it surgically removed and now it is a tiny bit noticeable but only by me. So I am looking for a cycle to help get me to 195 lbs, with a 300 bench. The sides I'm most worried about is gyno and increases in body hair and beard growth because I've already had some problems in these areas.

What type of steroids would be the types to look into? I know some of you guys are going to tell me to do some more research, but I don't even know where to start. If I know of the possible types of gear then I can look them up and go from there.

TY

Your body is ready, But you don't have enough information, did you get Gyno from Prolactin levels or Estrogen levels, If you can answer that then I can tell you where to start looking.

I don't really remember if my doctor even knew or speficied what it was from. I do remember him telling me that I could try stop eating chicken because that had estrogen in it, which I found kind of odd. I actually didn't stop eating chicken after my surgery, but I eat a TON of chicken and it hasn't gotten any worse since surgery. My insurance did cover the surgery though, but maybe that was because I said it hurt so they would cover it.

If its from Prolactin, never use Deca or Tren...PCT wont help (surgury will)
If its from Estrogen, use Proper PCT after Test cycles, all cycles. (anti-e)

I would go with a very mild course (unfortunately more expensive) for your first cycle. Primobolan does not aromatize and would be a good place to start. Stacked with some Anavar you should see decent size gains and significant strangth gains without the sides - but don't ignore PCT even for a mild cycle. T-Bol might be an option for you as most users have reported dramatic gains without the complications of more powerful substances like A-bombs or D-Bol.

Do some more research i would say read as much as you can in the next 4 months or so, then start your cycle informed. There is a book out there that can tell you different side effects from each drug. and gives you profiles of each steriod. Its called anabolics 2005 it really is a great book to get information from. Brand new its about 80 bucks i think. But you can find one on amazon for cheaper or half.com. Good luck to you man

You can still put on at least 20lbs. naturally.

Agreed.... plus a 300 bench is not heavy at all... even naturally. These goals can be attained naturally with food, good training work ethic. I would hold off till you are AT LEAST 190 and are a good deal stronger in your core lifts.

primo, var, tbol would all have very minimal sides. you could also run a low dose of test with some adex. if you do run test i would run adex throughout the cycle and during ptc.

Thanks guys

I know I'm pretty light, but I've really plateaued off. I've gained almost 50 pounds of muscle ever since I've been busting my ass five years ago. Sometimes I wonder if I started at 160 and gained fifty to 210 if I would be told the same thing. Truth is when I gain weight now my strength doesn't really go up very much. For example, when I was 165, I was benching 235, and now at 176 I'm at 245. I don't know if this is common for ectomorphs who really have to push theirselves to gain weight but I'm not gaining much strength anymore which makes me wonder if I'm gaining alot of fat in the process.

I appreciate all the advice guys, and I'll try to get up to 185-190 before I do a cycle, but I really think a 300 lbs pound bench might be out of my league naturally. Maybe I should change my diet and eat more carbs to get up to that weight but I've read you shouldn't ever do a cycle with more than 13% BF? In the last 4 months I've been lucky to get a great schedule with school and work so that I can eat well and often. For example, on a typical day I'll eat at 10:15 am, 12:30 pm, 2:30 pm, 4:30 pm (small snack), 6:30 pm, 9:00 pm, 11:00 pm, 1:30 am. This has helped me gain ten pounds but I've been at a virtual standstill for about 2 months. I'm kind of worried that when I get a real job I won't be able to eat this often and as much so I'll have to figure something out.

I'm really intrigued with T-Bol so far and it really looks like something I might consider. Looking forward to reading more about it in dugie's thread.

physically you may be ready... but typically if you feel the need to ask "am i ready?"... then you are not... (which is pretty much the same for anything)

you just need to learn a little more about the differanet types of gear that would work for you. other than that i don't see a reason why you shouldn't start.
