am i on point here?

ok so i started the zig zag diet 1 month ago. i am 6'0 220 about 14-15%bf, training many years and on hgh 3ius 3 on 1 off for one month now. starting gear shortly. well i calculated my bmr at 2122 and my tdee at 3289. i do 3 days at 50% protien 30% carbs (170gr) then 1 day at 50% carbs (411gr) 30% protien and the rest fats. i eat mainly instant non flavored oatmeal, chicken, red meat, fish, protien shakes, brown rice, potatoes, and veggies. i do allow myself 2 cheat meals a week on the high carb days which usually consists of about 5 slices of pizza. im doing 5 days of am cardio on an empty stomach and lifting weights 4-5 times a week.


i feel like im not getting the results i should be getting. am i eating too much?? not enough?? am i missing something?? by the way my goal is to get as lean as possible. thanks

trying to be as lean as possible and eating 2 cheat meals in the same wk is counter productive. drop the cheat meals.

and stop thinking of "cheat meals" eventually u wont even crave the crap foods...thinking of it as wanting a "cheat meal" is kinda like making a habit of subconsciously telling your self your sacrificing of missing out on somthing...lol i had a hard time with this at first but now...shit i cannot even recal the lastime i ate MCDonalds lol and i dont miss it
 
also you didn't mention how long your last meal was...You need at least a 10-13 hr fast from your last meal before cardio.

and like others have said drop your cheat meals, i have 1 cheat meal every 2 weeks! that works fine for me.

5 slices of pizza? Damn bro, when I was bulking I would feel guilty having a slice or 2...

I don't have or plan any cheat meals because going out with my girl or eating with the family here and there, it can get tough to have a chicken breast, yam, and veggies. I still do my best to get that kind of meal in but once in a while, a retaurant may make my chicken breast a little greasy or maybe it has some higher-than-normal sodium, or perhaps there are no complex carbs and I have to settle for a regular potato or something? That's why I believe in eating every meal as clean as possible when cutting, because I am sure that just living your normal life, somewhere within a 2 week period you will wind up eating something that isn't perfect anyway by accident.

I don't really crave bad food as much. When I see someone eating junk food or even just regular food, I feel like they are just getting fat while I'm getting ripped. Though I cringe everytime I pass the pizza shop.

actually im carb cycling and I also have cheat meals, every 4 days. and my fat is droping like crazy. im adverageing a lb a day.
 
my main diet consists of grilled chicken, lightly seasoned with mixed vegi's.I have this almost every meal. breakfast is the only time I really take in carbs, then I have peanut butter on multi grain bread. cottage cheese,sugar free jello and diet soda are my only snacks.

every 4th day I eat whatever I want. usually taco bell stuff.

im also useing t3/clen (1 week on one week off with the clen)

ive gone from 248 on 3/23 to 225 today on 4/17.
