Alternate mailing address needed.

I live in a two family home, and have family who pick up my mail during the day. It's unavoidable. I really need an alternate mailing address, and have been considering P.O. boxes or the like. I probably would be using this for only certain mail, or package items from time to time as I need to. I have read the past posts and understand that MBE/Fed Ex store is good, and most say Post Office is fine. Ultimately, this leaves me still in some confusion with who to go with, so i ask again. I would specificaly like to hear from those of you who actually have "boxes" and your experiences please. All other views are certainly welcome and appreciated nonetheless.

Hey bro, forget mailboxes, just have the stuff sent to your home, but use a courier that uses excellent tracking. Just track your package online and either the day before or very early in the morning before the couriers make their route, phone them up and ask them to hold your mail at their hub. Then all you have to do is show up with I.D and pick up your mail.

The trick is the make sure you do this before the drivers go out to make their deliveries.

Once you SIGN for said package (with ID at that...) that shows pretty good knowledge that you KNEW what was inside it

That is why most guys are better off with mail that does NOT require a signature, and can be left at the MBE 24 hours a day

What happens if the package does not fit in the box? And therefore has to be picked up during the middle of business hours? Would you have to show I.D then? And, are all Mbe's 24 hour locations?

If you have the key then you wont need to show ID...But that does NOT guarantee you are 100% safe (if under investigation)

What type of "mail" will you be receiving at this P.O. Box?

I use MBE and have had nothing but great service and privacy.

Well, I'm not going to lie brother, I obviously will be "mainly" setting up & using the box for delivery of pretty much all my personal use gear. This is why I have to open up the box, as I would have a problem with delivery of this at home because of family. Outside of that, some regular mail, and all other "legal" packages or goods that I buy online and feel like routing to the box for delivery for whatever reason. The option of recieving at home is just not available for me, and I need to go this route of setting up a box. Mainly for piece of mind/ privacy. Only thing not legal that would be going to that box would be the gear, and nothing else illegal. I know a lot of you guys have boxes and do fine,... basically I just wanted some reassurance. from the feedback I have gotten here I am prolly' going to go MBE...UPS store they are now,...right?
