Alright to work biceps 5 times a week?

I was just wondering if it was alright to work your arms 5 times a week. Think it might be overtraining?

This is my split as of now:

Mon: Chest, biceps, abs
Tues: Chest, biceps
Wed: Biceps, triceps, abs
Thur: Chest, triceps, biceps
Fri: Chest, biceps, abs
Sat: Rest
Sun: Rest


Don't want to overtrain :confused: :confused: :confused:

nah bro if you make sure to keep the intensity high on the biceps they will be forced to grow. I like to warm up with some light barbell curls then move to cable curls for 3 sets of 10 to extreme failure then move to db preacher curls for 6 sets of 15 to absolute failure. Then on to 4 sets of ez-bar curls for extreme assisted negatives. I finish it off with a burnout set with an olympic bar staring intensely at my reflection in the mirror.
 
I think thats a good beginner workout! By why are you taking sat and sun off? If you arent committed, then dont bother.
 
i would say thats a bit much your not giving your muscles time to repair. try cutting back one or two days a week.
 
If you don't want to bring up the effort to do AM and PM biceps workouts ED then forget about biceps growth !
 
You're not training chest for 3 days, what's up with that? Like the guy above me said if you can't commit to at least a twice daily split then you can't expect any gains.
 
all too funny. its d way most people train in my university weit room......my letters between f and j aint workin by te way

Tuesday: act like a tool
Wednesday: act like a tool
Thursday: act like a tool/drink
Friday: tool/drink
Saturday: tool/drink
Sunday: tool

if you really wanna put on size, you're going to need to drink more than that. at least 5 nights a week. plus, don't let monday's workout get in the way of acting like a tool.

JT you got it wrong my man. Chest and Bis is the Saturday night workout. Never done on Mondays. :newbie:
