Allow Me To Introduce Myself

The_Chemist

New member
I think its about time to introduce myself. Although I just registered I have been here for about three years reading posts religiously twice a day. I have been finishing a degree so I haven't had any time to post. To say that i've learned a lot hear is an understatment.

I chose the username "hairlossguru" NOT because I have all the answers. I don't even PRETEND to have all the answers. I am a just an amateur BB with an educational background in medicine and think that i may have something posative to contribute here.

I also chose the username "hairlossguru", Because I am officially the worlds most genetically predisposed human to hairloss. EVER!
Seriously though, I started to lose my hair when I was 19 and decided to take action because my father was completely bald by the time he was 24. That being said I decided to take finasteride Rather than just "accept my fate" like other lazy members of this board. It has completley slowed my hairloss..almost to a halt. I have been using AAS for about 4 years now and competed inBB for two, and have used high dose cycles. The point is that I have managed to do this through finasteride manipulation in addition to using other compounds such as minoxadil and nizorol.

I recieve emails almost daily asking me about hairloss in regards to AAS. For those of you that PM me and email...I am very busy, But if your patient I promise that I will get back to you.

Thanks

:)

Laser: That's an outstanding question and I was waiting for someont to ask.

Coming Soon: Hairlossguru's Deca/Proscar experiment.

I promise I'll post more details tommorrow.

Junk: I have actually yet to use fina so I can't comment from experience, but I CAN point you in the right direction.

I believe buffdoc has made some fantastic posts in this area about trenbolone being 5ar reduced. Do a search under his name and you'll be reading about the subject all night.

Sorry I couldn't offer you more than that.

Welcome....maybe i need to change my user name to hair king man mine is so thick!!!!!!!!!:D

Judging by your condescending tone, I would guess that this is a semi-subliminal advertisement or you are a pretentious prick.

What amount of finasteride do you take? Do you change it when you are on a cycle (increase it) then drop it back down in between cycles?

:FRlol:....I was thinking the same thing with his last statement

BTW, finasteride/minoxidil/nizarol definately halted my hair loss from AS use. Its not started to grow back yet, but then again I havent been off gear for longer than 2 weeks at a time in the past 8 months.

Radar: I wish I was in your shoes bro.

Enigma: I am far from pretentious and I don't know how in hell you came to the assumption that I might be selling something. I am not selling anything. If you read a little closer you would see that the only thing I even use is finasteride. How the hell do you think I'm going to manufacture and destribute that? WTF?

Doublebicep: Your exactly correct! I'm on a permamnent dosage of 1.25 mg/day of proscar. While on heavy dose test such as now to get ready for an upcomming show, I up it to 2.5mg day and use nizorol ED. 2..5 mg/day seems to work well up to 1gram of test. Anything higher and I will probably use 5mg/day.

Gilly: I didn't mean that I'm super busy answering questions. I meant that I'm so busy in my personal life that I don't have time to check Pm's every day. Maybe I could have written that last statement a bit better.

hairlossguru

Couple of questions:

1) How much finasterid do you use?
2) How much do you use on cycle?
3) Have u actually regorwn hair?
4) How long have you been on it for?

Cheers.

British : Although I have never actually regrown much hair, I can say with absolute certainty that finasteride slowed the process down. Sometimes I even think that finasteride almost stopped it completley.

I have been taking it for about 5 years, but I plan to swich to dutasteride once it has been approved on my medical plan. (that may take awhile so I'm not holding my breath)

I used finasteride 2 years ago for 8 months & did regrow my hair. then I stopped taking it & lost it all within 5 months. I have now been on it again for the past 8 months & have regrown some, but not to the extent it came back the last time. The difference between the 2 courses was that the first time I was off gear the entire period, while this time I have been ON the entire 8 months & my finasteride dosage has only been 1/4 ED.

Have u had lenghtly OFF gear periods in the last 5 years?

hey bro, no problem....welcome to the board and look forward to your contributions....BTW my hair is going, going......almost gone

be careful with upping the finasteride dosage too high. i went up to 2.5mgs ed and suffered from sexual sides....not pleasant. and viagra didnt help.

Nice to have your aboard... Now, if only we had the member, nutshrinkageguru, we would be all dialed in.

God, I thought I was an asshole but I think your statement takes the cake. WTF? Way to make someone feel welcome. I don't see any self-serving motive in what he posted. It appeared like he was just trying to be helpful. Most of us that use AAS on a regular basis have problems in this area. At least I do so I'm glad there is someone who has some experience that he can share to help prevent hair loss.

Are you using 2% Nizoral? If so how can you use it ED? That would dry out my scalp faster than you can say DHT.

I just got some minoxidil 5% and some Nizoral...I think Im thinning a little..think that will do it? Or should I get some finasteride?
I do pretty high dosage cycles 1500-2000mgs

God Bless

:FRlol: :FRlol: :FRlol: Whatever, maybe you are an asshole and I definitely am an asshole. But snippets like this caught my attention.

When someone comes into a room with trumpets like that, I think a little ballbusting is in order. Anyway, welcome to the board and good luck helping these balding lazy members out. :D

Christian Lifter: If your losinh your hair don't bother with all that ohter stuff until your running finasteride every day for at least four months. If finasteride is not going to work for you, than its doubtfull that anything weaker will.

Juice authotity: Couldn't have said it better myself. Just want to make a posative contibution.

Doc J: I don't seem to have any problems using nizorol Ed. It doesn't dry my scalp out at all, but I only use it while im on AAS.

I was on Propecia for a while, is finasteride a stronger version of Propecia?

Finasteride must be something they market more in other countries.

Also a little advice, don't buy Propecia from an Internet source. If you have a Doctor go get a script for it and buy it at a Pharmacy. These internet pharm's are a rip charging double the amount it costs from a real Pharmacist.

I had a cool doctor too, you can usually ask for free samples and they'll give you a months worth for free.
