whenever i have a cold, which is about once a year, someone will inevitably say "oh, yeah, its probably allergies".

"i don't have allergies. this is a cold."

"the pollen count is really bad though. maybe you do."

I Do NOT.

although, i am severely allergic to two odd things: kiwi fruit and brazil nuts.
i break out in bad hives and my throat closes up, making it hard to breath. i have to carry benedril with me in case i accidentally have either one.

I'm not allergic to any other nuts but peanuts. So yes, peanuts and peanut butter.

Oh I forgot I'm allergic to prednisone, codeine, demoral (sp?), and penicillin.

Prednisone makes my throat start closing up and make me vommit.
Codeine makes me hallucinate.
Demoral makes me hallucinate and get really bad headaches.
Penicillin makes me get a rash.

I'm alergic to everything. cats, pollen, dust, milk, meds, etc, etc.But, the worse is wheat. (Its in everything) I'm a big nerd w/3 different inhalers.

About 5 yrs ago, the 2 hottest girls at the gym (it was a small gym maybe 6 girls) invite me over to eat at one of their houses. They must of spent hours cooking. They had this cheese casarole (wheat and milk) that they couldn't wait until I tryed it. I tryed to not eat bc I knew I would get sick. But, I wanted to please the ladies (as always) To make things worse she had a couple of cats and dogs that wouldnt leave me alone. (unfortunately, animals love me) So, first I started sneezing bad with snot running all over. Then, I made about 10 trips to the bathroom w/diareha. Finally the wheat kicked in and I was having trouble breathing. So, I said fuck it and busted my inhaler out. The girls were laughing the whole night. I never hooked up w/either of the girls. (they were out of my league at the time anyway) But, we are still friends.

The only thing I am allergic to is Tea. Kind of a weird and rare allergy, but not a horrible one in the grand scheme of things. It acts kind of like a mortar shell, get in my stomach looks around and comes right back out.

there's an enzyme in pineapple that is also in kiwi fruit. if i eat a lot of fresh pineapple, i get a slight reaction, but my mom is allergic to it also.
you can't add either one to jello for some reason.

i seem to have developed airborn allergies as an adult.....dust, mold, smoke, maybe pollen....there's a lot of shit that can cause allergies.
