So you're saying pop is a category only for boybands? U2 is pop. Madonna is pop. Michael Jackson is pop. Rap is pop.

NO, I NVR SAID THAT...I WOULD LIKE YOU TO QUOTE IT IF I SAID THAT.

POP IS A GENRE. HIP HOP (RAP) IS A GENRE. THEY CANNOT BE ONE AND THE SAME.

I don't consider POP a genre.

Anymore, it's a catch-all for whatever is POPular.

That's why Metallica, U2, and Cher can all be in the same chart list at the same time.

50%? What is this, deflation??

Whatever happened to Cash Money Millionairs?

The "Cash Money Millionaires" were actually not a real group, just all the big names on Cash Money Records.

Juvenile, B.G., and Young Turk (all members of the "Hot Boys") have left Cash Money. Lil Wayne stayed, and the Big Tymers arent going anywhere b/c Baby (the one with plat in his grill) owns half of CMR and Mannie Fresh, CMR's producer has a blank check signed by the Williams brothers so he's pretty much locked in as well.

After they lost Juvy, he made the song "A Hoe" dissin CMR & Lil Wayne. But Lil Wayne replied with "Oh Boy Remix". Cash Money then went out and signed a few people, most namely Mack 10, who's album "Bang or Ball" didnt go platinum (and the best song on the album was done by Dr. Dre).

LMFAO

I think 50 cent is hot, firast off the guy has been shot 9 times, and once in the face, take about mkaing it through rough times. And its about damn time someone rapping, or even who gets some mt play that has some half decent size to him. All these little "al i have is abs" ushers, and ja rules make me wrench, hit the gym for fuck sakes. LL changed his whole look, inspiring.

Next I thought he was tight when "How to rob" came out. You have some serious justs when you ccome out and just start ripping into other artists the way he did.

I like most if not all the songs on the cd.

BTW Whizkid stop bashing rap so much...:o We all get the point you don't like it. I listen to everything out there, it all has something to offer.

I'm going to come out and say I do like 50 cent. I liked wanksta, i like in tha club, i liked all of the first songs I heard. He is different, has a really good rhythm, and isn't doing the cookie cutter rap with a r&b female singer schtick, so i have to like that. As for the album, I don't really care for it. I like the two singles and maybe one or two others, but the rest sound like typical eminem/dre songs that were just put into a formula to produce the same sounding songs. I think his past albums would probably be better just due to the fact that most of dre and eminem's songs are usually overproduced.

He is receiving a lot of hype right now, and I am fine with it, because he is a breath of fresh air. As for the album itself, I don't think it does him much justice.

Go pick up or DL this mix tape:

DJ Kurupt - Paid in Full part 2.

It features 50.

It came out in Oct 02' real good

Also does anyone know the title of the song by 50 cent: it has these lyrics in the beginning- " That's the sound of a man cocking his thang, yeah e yeah"

I am not sure of the song, but i have most of his songs on my computer, i will check for you ltr when I get home form work bro if the answer is not found before then.
