Hey bro recieved PM. Thanks for the reminder.
I read your reply and was 100% sure i re-posted but may have made an error as I was in a hurry. Have more time now so will try answer you as much as I could...
First of all would say 6000 calories a day would be an acheivment in its self to anyone with a normal job or daily routine. That sayd it is most certainly possible.
Stick to the basics imo when consuming such a dense intake. No time for fancy pant tricks but at the same time dont get lazy. Depending on your lifestyle break your diet in to 6 meals atleast. Personaly 8 if you have the time.
The Basics:
- 6-8 meals a day
- I would aim for 3000-4000 calories through out your meals from food
- Add in a weight gainer shake to the first third of your day, homemade preferably if you can
- Drop the carbs in the last thrid of the day after your workout
You mentioned 6000 cals a day. I think it may be a bit much IMO at this time. Aim for 3000-4000 cals a day depending on how you feel and the time you have. Add in your weight gainer shake for another 1000 cals and your on the money with a combined intake of 4k - 5k which would be where I would aim.
Cut the carbs at night after your workout. Carbs are your strength in the gym and the strength and power compound movements are where the size will come from. Later in the day loose the carbs. No point in taking in the energy if it wont get used up.
Some Tips:
If your going to bulk seriously I would recommend recording your diet. Nothing gives motivation like progress. Record your diet and weight increase. This will help you monitor your progress allowing you to change and tweek your diet depending on your goal. Eg grow faster in your set time, your growing too fast in your set time and can relax alittle.
Time your food! Also time your food. Meals should be consumed every 2-3 hours. Have a look at your daily routine eg work and training. Plan your meals strictly and stick to it. If you cant eat every 2-3 hours adjust! make them count and last. If you have more time later on you can also help yourself by making the meals more reguarl but lighter each time.
Conclusion!
Gaining weight and eating during the day is the easy part. Looking at yourself in the mirror at the end knowing youve done it the right way is the hard one.
Good luck bro. Let me know how your progress and body takes shape.
