Any fans? Someone mentioned a while ago that Jerry Cantrell was thinking of finding a new lead singer. Any updates? No one can replace Layne so I'm not really too crazy about that idea.

And while I'm here; favorite AIC songs. "A Little Bitter" and "Get Born Again" I've always thought were awesome. So many though.

I am a big AIC fan, no excuses, would? , brother, list goes on, definite an underated band of their time, songwriting and flexibility blew most grunge bands away. it wont be AIC without layne.

Dirt and Jar of Flies are hands down some of the best albums of the 90s.

I don't see why Jerry would try and find someone else, his solo career is going okay.

AIC is my fav band

nutshell is my fav song ever

i wish i woulda had a chance a see her in concert :(

layne second band wasnt bad either... i just miss his voice

they are the shit. I never got to see them in concert either. FOR the life of me I can't remember the other album Layne did? right after rehab..i have it at home but can't remember the name of it. THAT is a sweet album!

Mad Season. It's been out for 10 years but I just picked it up last week. (Probably why I started this thread) Awesome album. I'll have to check out some old Jerry Cantrell solo cd's next. I don't think he's had anything new for a few years.

mad season! yes...man that is a good album. I only have one Jerry C album. I just listened to DIRT again. Funny thing is I can remember leaving DIRT in my CD player for over 6 months and playing all the time. My friends used to get PISSED when I wouldn't change it.

I beleive they just released a "best of" compilation including some of the unplugged stuff.

Layne is sorely missed although i too have heard Cantrell is trying to replace him, who knows?
