You're seeing fresh genetics in the game. Eastern Europe and Russia have a hole lot of untapped cacusian sp? athletes. They're only now starting to tricle out and we're seeing a lot of potential there.
 
gregory may be right. i read somewhere that italians, blacks, and germans had the best gentics for bodybuilding.

maybe russians and eastern europeans also have superior genetics. who knew? since there have never been well know pros from that area. if more pros come along like federov russians may dominate the sport someday.

Yep, look at the recent influx of Polish Strong men and women. The Polish strong men look like huge bodybuilders, incliding Mariusz. The World's Strongest Woman is also a young Polish woman. This is very suprising given how new they are to these sports. Then there is, Rhul, Gunther, Fedrov, and plenty of others that will start to trickle out. The US needs a fresh injection of genes.

I dont think its something steroid lelated.. maybe diet or diuretics... Fedorov had chest surgery, its really hard to recover from an injury like that.

Eastern European BB'ers do have a more rugged look than western BB'ers.
 
definetly huge, thick and dense. But his chest is small for how big he is, and then you say Ronnie and Jay has a thick waist, so does he and he is younger so it is probably only going to get bigger. But check out page 2 1st pic, his back his crazy.
 
Its genetics bros. I have pure Russian blood in my veigns.

My dad is ripped year-round, 176 lbs, 5f8. Not bad considering he doesn't work out and eat whatever he wants, at age 56. My uncle is absolutly huge, looks like a strongman, but doesn't work out either.

I've managed to put on 46 lbs nattie in a year, at my age, 17.

The future is bright for us soviets. :)
 
i always thought pavol jablonicky was the most underrated of all pro BBs. maybe he is not flashy, or loudmothed enough to generate much attention. his physique is amazing without being ridiculously huge. no GH gut either. isn't he from one of those eastern european countries?

The only variable is Vodka, potatoes and cold weather, moy drouk. My dad still has plenty of Vodka, potatoes are abundant and its cold as hell here in Québec. It's all good. :)

Hey guys just checkin in..as you could tell from the name, I'm also Russian. Moved to America when I was 2 (but still speak fluently, go figure)

Well, I guess my potential was lost on the airplane trip over to America, because I'm 5'6, 124 lbs, and my bis are having a hard time breaking 13 inches...but hey I just turned 16, there's still time.
