ALA on keto diet

Hey all, I've seen several people talk about this but no answer yet and that on how ALA would affect a keto type diet. When taken int he morning when your blood sugar is low, its said to cause you to go into hypoglycemia but what if you are taking 600-700mg with every meal and every meal being less than 5-10g of carbs, what would happen to your body and muscle? I was wondering about this since im currently on a keto type diet and I've been feeling very weak and was curious on whether the ALA with very low carbs will wreak havoc on my muscles, I'm intaking a good 200g of protein a day along with adipo and I do not try to do any cardio.
 
Chris Oh- what are your stats, as far as weight? 200g of protein on a keto diet sounds WAY low, unless you weigh 100 lbs ( and I doubt it) I want to know the answer, too. I'll bump it in hopes Fonz catches this thread...

Im currently on a keto diet and im taking 900 mgs of CLA and ALA along with 3 hydroxycuts with breakfast lunch and dinner. I have lost 12 lbs in 5 days so far and feeling and looking better and better every day. I think its great ive done keto before and never felt this good bro.

Wow nice results... will you post what your diet looks like? and are you using both 900mgs of CLA and 900mgs of ALA? or are you using that combo I saw of CLA and ALA mixed?

Im doing this.

Im taking 2000mgs of CLA and 900mgs of ALA both vitamin shop brand and 3 hydroxycuts with breakfast lunch and dinner i think theyre working incrediably well im very satisfied with the results and cant wait for week 6 thats how long im going to do this diet plan for. Then im doing a nice bulking cycle while still eating clean. Im eating eggs and canadian bacon for breakfast with one slice of cheese every morning and then a shake around like 1030 or 1100 depending on day and then at 100 ill have a grilled chicken breast with some lemon juice on it and a slice of cheese and then another isopure shake at 330-400 and dinner is usually a turkey breast chop with a slice of cheese or a marinated chicken breast in some soy sauce and garlic then a protein bar around 900 after my workout. i do 35 mins of cardio 15 mins on bike and 20 mins on elliptical trainer. Im very happy with my results this time around and i will post some before and after pics after my cycle. Need any more info email me the address is in my profile. good luck!
 
I'm 217 with 12% BF, ive been on a keto diet for about 2 days and I'm feeling really lightheaded and my entire body feels like it has ants crawling all over it. I havent weighed myself in about a week though but I'm looking more cut.
 
GUYS

Remember on a KETO DIET, you should feel tired/larthargeic if you are eating enough fats, Fat is not the enemy if you emlinate carbs, HAVE 1 lb of steak a day divided into 2-3 servings, you will feel great thoughout the day. Add some flax, some eggs, protein powder you will do fine.
 
Victor, do you mean you SHOULDN'T feel tired if you eat enough fats? If you eat enough fats, you'll produce enough ketone bodies to sustain energy. If you have too little fat in your diet, you will be up shit creek and feeling like hell...you are right, though-fat is certainly NOT the enemy!

Im a tard thats what I meant, EAT FATS and you shouldnt be tired, KETO dosent work for everyone, Ive been eating around 100carbs or less for years now, Im well over 220 around 10-9% bf.
