Ok, from all of the posts I have been reading about ALA megadosing (3-4g/day), it seems that from my calculations, that people are consuming what averages out to be 10mg ALA for ever 1g of carbs consumed total per day (~3g ALA for 300g carbs). However, most of the people taking megadoses are accumulating there ALA totals by using 3 large carb-laden meals. Now here is my question, is there some sort of threshold dosage, on a per meal basis, that must be met in order to produce the desired results, (I'm wondering if this is the case due to the extremely short half life of ALA, 30min), or can the dosages be taken in smaller more frequent incriments throughout the day with your carb meals that will eventually total 3-4g ALA/day. For example, if I eat a meal 6xs a day that contains 60g of carbs will 600mg of ALA be enough to produce the desired results or would higher 1g+ dosages be needed on a per meal basis, please keep in mind that 600mg x 6 meals = 3.6gALA/day. I'm currently experimenting with this now, but I'd like some input from some of the bro's. I ask this question only becauseI don't like to take in massive amounts of carbs at one sitting I'd rather take in smaller amounts of carbs and ALA that add up to 3-4g instead of reaching that number in only 3 meals. Thanks again, bros, and I'm looking forward to a good discussion!!!
