ALA and weightloss

I've been reading alot about ALA and insulin sensitivity, and how this can help with glucose control in the body which may help with lipodystrophy ( body fat redistribution or body fat in particular areas )

Any sugguestions on how many mg's a day? And if it actually works?? Any of you guys seen results with the stuff??
 
yes it works very well.

if you use r-ALA I'd take 100-200mg per meal depending on how many carbs you consume, if taking regular ALA I'd buy some 500mg caps and take one each meal with carbs.
 
ALA or r-ALA helps to shuttle glucose to muscle cells and a much smaller part to your fat cells. This way ALA will send more of the carbs you eat to your muscle cells....

ALA also helps with keto diets by clearing glucose from your bloodstream.... allowing your body to fall into ketosis. ALA also helps glucose from being stored as liver glycogen ... which also helps with ketosis.

Most ALA users find optimal fat burning around 3000mg per day ( unsure about r-ALA).... but varies slightly from person to person. So experiment a little...
