Very sad for the guy. It's an expensive and dangerous hobby tho, you gotta realize that.

Even where I live up around NIU, there is a couple dudes that fly MiG's for fun, you can die any second flying something that powerful......

He died doing something that he loved! I hope that I get to die in a similar fashion. I could say that his life had or gave meaning, but we both know that's BS. Nobody's life does that.

while i agree he wsa flying a giant pos....modern in service U.S planes fall out of the sky with alarming regularity as well. And if you're an F-22 pilot right now you're wondering if your next op is the one where the plane decides oxygen is overrated.
