Ai ?

Anastrozole (Arimidex®) is the aromatase inhibitor of choice. The drug is appropriately used when using substantial amounts of aromatizing steroids, or when one is prone to gynecomastia and using moderate amounts of such steroids. Arimidex does not have the side effects of aminoglutethimide (Cytadren®) and can achieve a high degree of estrogen blockade, much moreso than Cytadren®. It is possible to reduce estrogen too much with Arimidex, and for this reason blood tests, or less preferably salivary tests, should be taken after the first week of use to determine if the dosing is correct.

As an aromatase inhibitor, Arimidex's mechanism of action -- blocking conversion of aromatizable steroids to estrogen -- is in contrast to the mechanism of action of anti-estrogens such as clomiphene (Clomid®) or tamoxifen (Nolvadex®), which block estrogen receptors in some tissues, and activate estrogen receptors in others. During a cycle, if using Arimidex, there is generally no need to use Clomid as well, but (as mentioned in the section on Clomid) there may still be benefits to doing so.

Not my words i just copied it from the internet ok folks.

Good descriptions. And good to see someone recognizing the the drawbacks of Clomid which was never before questioned. In "Bottom Line Bodybuilding" I had a chapter called "CLOMID --The Big Lie." It must have been reprinted on the net a dozen times, all with resident gurus attacking it. Those same people are now quoting it. (And taking credit for the idea of course).

One thing I would contend is the statement that dexx can lower e too much. That's dose related. Anything can do TOO much if you take TOO much. The proper dosage is actually quite low if you add some supplemental anti aromatases such as POST CYCLE and/or Sustain. In that case, 1/4 EOD of dexx is usually fine, making it a pretty good bargain.

I'm still not sold on aromasan. I tried it and had a little libido issue but that can be a thousand things. (Been stressed out big time). Nevertheless, either drug is vastly superior to Clomid or Nolva.

For more info read the "PCT For a New Generation" sticky.

people talk about using ai......what is that and where do you find?

I know this may seem like A LOT of work & research, but at the top of this forum there are things called a sticky. There you will find terminology breakdown and other information that Mods believe are worthy of leaving at the top.
One of those stickys happens to be from AG Guys, which might answer part 2 of your question.

aromasin seems to knock my libido out, however adex didn't seem to shed any water for me. seems very weak compared to aromasin. aromasin has me pissing every ten fucking minutes. think i'm gonna drop it and just carry the extra couple pounds of water. i'm only on prop anyways.

Are you holding alot of water on your prop. I didnt hold much. How much you running. And how long are you running your cycle. Are you using anything else or just the prop.

Aromatase inhibitor...I suggest a small dosage with almost every AAS cycle.

The stickies are a good thing, but most noobs will still need to ask questions and get help. As everyone's situation will be slightly different.
