Oh just bullshit at work. Got observed doing a lesson.......normally I get a rating of good witohut much of a problem. Today I only got a satisfatory with 'aspects of good'..........and a fucking unsatisfactory. Yeah you read that right.........Unsatis-fucking-factory. I am inadequate.....

Why did I get unsatis-fucking-factory? I deserved it by the way........well my 16 year old class didnt know the difference between an element and a compound. I gave them too much credit and didnt start from a simple enough place.

Luckily the principle and the head of department have enough faith in me to realise I screwed up and that it is a one off but it still means I will get observed yet again. Oh and most of the department failed.........but that doesnt make it ok.

Exactly.........we have Headteachers and I didnt want to have to explain the term to anybody who came across the thread.

Oh heres an update: Those little fuckers set me up good. Today they came in all sheepish and sat down wanting to work. For some reason they all know about elements and compounds now. So either they all went home and swotted up or they were trying it on because we were being observed. Such is life.....another lesson learnt.
