Guys
I have just come back to work from a huge amount of eating and cheating..I feel so bad and guilty as hell...anyone got any get fit quick tips to get me back in shape??

I am hoping to throw it down on the running machine big time and then go back to the normal routine..anyone got any other / better suggestions to help me out of this slump?

I have been eating enough ice cream and peanuts to support a small african nation..now I need to pay the price!

climb on any cardio machine and start running until new year's day (if you expect to pig out once again) :mix:

huge amount of eating and cheating is not too bad from time to time...
Don't worry there is just 1 Xmas day in a whole year

:fro:

Thanks dude...appreciate the words of encouragement..I'm all ready to hit that machine and not stop till new years eve!
By the way is 30 mins on a running machine ok ..or do I need to increase speed and spend more time on it i.e an hour?

you can go
for 40 - 70 min at a moderate pace
or
15-30 at a more intense pace

If you do 5 days cardio until new years eve
you can have 2 days at a moderate pace and the 3 other ones at a more intense pace

hey i hear yah, im so happy the gyms are back open and i can stop fucking around with not working out at all, just sitting on my ass with family and eating shit, its a pain when theres no way around it too.

good luck all, im off to get back on track

I went to the gym lastnight, after gorging myself for 3 days straight. I was surprised that I had lost weight. I also lost strenght though shitty fuel = shitty workout.

Cardio is not the answer. Just hit the weights with a double vengeance and stop feeling guilty. Guilt is an emotion apparently unique to humans, and as far as I can tell it serves no useful purpose unless you wish to appear as a repentant religious zealot. You're all carb/protein/fat loaded to the max, so take advantage of this and push those weights to new limits. Gain some muscle!!!!!
