advice on pimples

I finished my 20 week cycle on test and now am finishing my 3rd week of 10 on sust, I have already gained about 35 pounds of muscle and kept myself around 6 to 8 % body fat.

my shoulders, and back are getting pimples not bad, what I was wondering is if anyone has advice on what to do to control them or stop them from getting worse.

right now I basicly try to take 2 showers a day scrubbing with a luffa, vitamins, and drink over 2 gallons of water a day. One of my friends told me about some stuff you can get a rite aid called nature's cure acne treatment.

any advice would be greatly appreciated

That nature cure is for very mild cases, garbage IMO. Try an astrigent and apply to infected areas after each shower.

Simple benzoyl peroxide will work wonders for mild cases buddy.
Go to walgreens or whatever you have in your area, pick up some Benzoyl peroxide with the highest concentration (prolly around 10%) and apply it before bed every night. or as needed really.

Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) helps tremendously. It takes about 2 weeks to fully kick in but it's worth it. I've been taking 10 grams daily with good results.

Its in capsules. Its Vitamin 5 aka Panothenic Acid. Caps of panothenic acid usually have 500mg in them. There are ones that have 1000mg but they are pretty big and can be hard to swallow. You should start at 10gs which is 20 capsules a day brokin up into 4-5 doses spread out evenly through the day. Then when the acne clears, reduce the amount to 5gs and then 3g etc. You need to make sure to also take a vitamin b complex when taking large doses of panothenic acid to prevent imbalances of other b vitmins like biotin which causes problems like severly dry lips. Don't buy panothenic acid locally at places like gnc because its a major rip off since you need about 140 pills per week and a bottle from a places like gnc only has 100 caps in it and cost twice as much as online.

im on 3rd week of sust and deca and acne is starting to show up on my freaking face...pissing me off, so i just went and got a script for acne..

Theres no way of stopping the acne once it kicks in during (or after) a cycle in my experience. An astringent will hold it back some......but until your androgen levels fall.....youre wasting your time and money if you think you can stop it imo.

And B5`s bull. All it did for me was mess up my appetite.10000mg/day of vitamin powder doesnt do a body good.

I use the loofa with Nutrogena's "pore clearing body wash" or something, it's better than just using any old bodywash (or soap).

Ideally you need to start the b5 4 weeks before you start the cycle. It does not work for all people. Some people it does nothing where as others its a miracle kind of like accutane. It does have side effects when you first start it such as it makes you have crazy cravings at night and can give you an upsett stomach but this is temporary only for first week or so. True 10000mg of a vitamin may not be good, but neither is putting foreign substances like excess AAS's into your body or a lot of things people do in the name of bodybuilding. Acne sucks.

Take 1 b complex a day.

well how much vitamin b would you need to counter balance the dryness of vit. 5

As dr0832 stated, take 1 B-complex pill daily.

My advice, if you see a lot of cycles in your future, and if you can put up with pizzacrust lips for a long time, accutane :p . Personal bias, but it takes care of the vast majority of pimples for almost your whole life, as is per my understanding. I thought it was worth it!

its hormonal bro. Might wanna get a good anti estrogen, nolvadex or liquadex will help lots. Clomid makes me break out like a bitch so you may want to reconsider that as part of your pct if you have one.

tazorac gel works good too, can get a script for it from a derm. topical ointment. great stuff, similar to retin-a

Go to a derm and see if he'll give you a script for a creme called Neo-Medrol. I recently got a script for this and my face and chest are clear as day. Not a single zit. They were never really bad but bad enough

You guys can use all the gels and soaps you want, but NOTHING works like accutance, even at a low dose.
the others dont have the sides of accutane either, which can be very severe, and mental. i wouldn't fuck with it unless it was necessary.

at 20 mg eod the sides are basically non-existent.
that is a low dose, i was just playing devils advocate. i may actually try that if i get any worse, but the gel seems to be good where i use it.

Coming from someone who had a bad ass case of backne:

B5, B5, B5, and more B5
if that doesn't work Accutane.
Tetracycline is useless although it seemed to give me a slight tan.

Rubbing alcohol or toothpaste is something good to rub on the problem areas.

and Tanning really seems to help.

If you've got a MILD case of acne then try either B5 or some of the topical gels like tazorac, retin-a, etc. Personally B5 never worked for me and gave me constant diarrhea. There are a ton of other alternative treatments but they are all hit and miss and you have to experiment with each one on an individual basis. That means lots of time and money hoping to pick the right one if you are lucky.

For moderate to severe acne don't bother wasting your time and money on those other things, go straight for accutane. Try sticking to a low a dose as possible.

I agree 100%, good post.

If all else fails try hooking yourself up with a belt sander. It will take those pesky pimples right off your back :p just kidding and what a worthless post but it sounded funny to me. I have used accutane a long long time ago and it worked soo good. I was about 18 or so and was all broke out face, back etc.. and it cleared me up perfectly and I havent had any real acne since. I havent run a real cycle yet either though. :)
