advice needed please

Ok, so this morning I am woken up by my sister coming in bawling, because she had been burnt at the hairdressers by the 'hot brush', now when she told them they just fobbed her off and put a bit of cream on it and didn't let her see the manager and still let her pay for the haircut.

Now we have treated the burn and it seems ok, but what should I do? go down there and get the money back? I bought lots of burn treatment products, should I ask to be refunded for them? should I ask for anything else? what to do?

scare the shit out of them with a lawyers letter saying that they have failed in their duty of care and now face litigation, you might even get a settlement. take photos of the wound, fill in a victims impact statement, and really nail them

this sort of hting pisses me off, i had a hairdresser cut the back of my neck (badly, i was bleeding) for a shitty $20 mens haircut (short back and sides back then) and they STILL demanded that i pay them the money. i thought it was disgusting, if i was in charge i would refuse to accept payment and offer apologies, that sort of behaviour is bullshit

making them pay for fucking up is satisfaction. give it to charity if you don't want to keep it. and after they have to pay big bux make sure you tell them that if they had just apologized and reimbursed you for the burn care products that would have ended it for you.

like GD that kind of stuff really pisses me off. (that and yellow cab drivers but thats a story for another thread).

also when she came in at first she laready had some cream on the burn and I thought that it was her skin, that scared me a lot lol
