I definitley want to get back into doing weights again so that I can build muscle/strength. But I also want to develop good fitness aswell.
Obviously in bodybuilding this can't be done. Ideally I want massive muscles but how big do they need to be. I would rather maintain a level of muscle and fitness all year round so am i best forgetting bodybuilding and trying boxing?

i want to go running twice a week, and it seems that evry1 i ask says you can't do it while building muscle. I want to do more than just 3 weightlifting sessions a week as it doesnt seem enough. I have school every day, 8 till 3, homework and serious study to do aswell as working friday and saturday nites.

Yes you can stay active an gain muscle. Your gains will be slow and hard to come by. You will have to eat a tremendous amount, in order to offset the calories you are burning doing cardio, in order so have enough for your muscle to grow. Also you will have to have a high calorie yet "clean" diet. I lift five days a week and just split it up by bodypart. Don't worry about your schedule if you are serious about it you will find the time to work out.

Look at sprinters they are fit and have tremendous amounts of muscle. Sure they lift but the sprint and do light cardio as well

If you want to run twice a week, just eat a little more ... you can't gain muscle without eating, period.
