ADMIN: Can the board software...

Question for the Board Admin:
Can the software support this ?

I think everyone who starts a thread should be able to
Moderate their own thread. In otherwords, the person creating
the thread would be able to delete individual posts within it,
just as they can now delete the whole thread.

For example, Supergirl creates a thread, and two others
start fighting on it. She's currently unable to protect
her own thread from their arguing.
I think she should be able to delete the offending posts, and protect her discussion.

This would really shut up some of the obnoxious posts,
and less need for Mods to step into a post they didn't create.

Can this be done?

the only danger i can forsee is the possible misuse, such as one board member deleting all the posts of the people he dislikes for no good reason in relation to that thread, or iof someone posts a racially sensitive post, and then only allows other bigots etc. to post, if someone then clicked ont hat thread hed think 'this boards racist/sexist/homophobic'

but something that would allow submission of a users threads to a mod would be a nice idea
