Carnitine is wicked stuff! used it when out in thailand and dropped 8kg in two weeks taking about 2000mg a day but there was one guy there who droped 8 kg in 4 days! he was taking about 4000mg a day though and training like a machine! that stuff is the nuts in my opinion. Although two drawbacks! your supposed to take it before training, and if your like me and doing a morning and evening training taking it too late at night can keep you awake at night and if you take it for more than a few weeks i started to feel really really drained and tired all the time would take it for 2 weeks on then two weeks off if i were you
