Hey Fellas,

I ended my 2nd cycle a little over a month ago. It was Test-E and Deca stacked. WOW....did my back explode with zits. I went to the doctor and they are putting me through the Accutane treatment. I just finished the first month of it. (5 more to go) I never realized how horrendous this treatment is. After the first month, my lips are cracking and my skin is dry as hell too....along with my back and chest breaking out with even more zits. I guess this is all normal according to the Dr.

My question is this...Accutane is suppose to be a cure for acne. Some percentage like 80-90% of the people never get acne again. I am wondering if there is any of you guys or girls that went through the entire treatment. I would like to know your experiences. My biggest question is if you complete the treatment, if your acne returns if you do a cycle later on down the road???

I took accutane in high school 12 years ago and it worked really well. I have been cycling on steriods for about 6 years now and when I came off of a Test, Tren cycle I broke out really bad, mostly back, shoulders and chest. I think it was the Omadrin I took, I never had problems with other tests. Also, shaivng my chest made it even worse. In the last year I did another 6 month Accutance cycle starting at 40 and up to 80mg a day. It worked really well. Since then I have done another Test, Tren cycle and I got a few big ones on my back but overall Accutane worked wonders. My doctor said obviously the oil based steriods will make you more prone to breakout. I ran a 8 week cycles of Test and Tren while I was on Accutane and was also fine, boold tests where ok. My doctor wasn't happy I did it but I had a photo shoot so I had to. Just make sure you are honest with your doctor. I tell my doctors everything. They can't do their job right if you don't. GET SOME DR. DAN'S CORTIBALM!!!!!! It is a chapstick. If you can't find it at a doctor you can get if off the internet for $7 a tube. www.cortibalm.com It is a life saver for your lips while on Accutane. I can't imagine doing Accutane without it. Order 2 tubes at a time because if you loose a tube you better have a back up. It is a must have. Trust me.

Also, I continue to use Cylindrgel on my chest or other parts of my body that like to break out from shaving. I only apply it after I have since it is expensive. But my body is clear as can be. My girlfriend is jealous now because I have such nice skin and people always make comments about nice my skin looks. I think down the road when you come off Accutane and your skin returns to normal you look better than you did even before acne. I have spoken to other users and they agree that theri skin is like they are 10 years old again.

I just finished a course of accutane about 2 months ago. So far so good. I've known a few people that have had to go back on but just for about 2-3 months and they were good to go then. Accutane dries up your oil glands usually for good. I don't think it has anything to do w/ steroids that are oil based. It's the fact that you're jacking up your hormone levels which can increase oil production within the body (not oil from the gear). Just keep lotion around for your skin and I would recommend Aquaphor by Eucerin for your lips. You can pick it up at any drug store. Any kind of ointment is batter than a tube of chapstick IMO while on accutane. After a while it's not that bad; more of a nuisance than anything. Good luck w/ your run on it.

Eurcerin body lotion, Neutrogena oil free face lotion, and a bar of purpose soap is the best combo I found for me. I even noticed a huge diference between the purpose gel and bar soap. Again, I would get the Dr. Dan's lip balm.

Cranny - You are right about the oil based steriods. Its not because they are oil based its just what they do in your body. I always say it is like going through puberty when you come off steroids cause your body has to start producing test again and acne is deffinately a problemdurnig puberty.

you might try Teatree soap,,,worked killer for me. i was on deca and test back and chest broke out pretty bad,,washed with teatree and hit tanning beds pretty hard and they dried alot of it up.
