I had a college professor from Costa Rica (former Special Forces too). He would always talk about his home country. A great guy. I always wanted to go down there and visit. I hear it is beautiful.

scenario wise its very pretty, I didnt like living there though... of course Nicaragua still wont back peddle and they are still in CR territory, now the UNand OAS is involved because CR gave a 48 hour ulimatum for the troops to leave (which is kinda silly since CR has no army or any armed forces to remove them anyway) the shit may be hitting the fan soon... just on time for my trip there.... *sigh*

Arfe you still a Costa Rica citizen? I think my professor has dual-citizenship. He owned tons of land down there too. He said it was dirt cheap.

Yeah I have dual citizenship, land isnt that cheap anymore, you cant get ANYTHING decent under $100,000 (and those $100k will get you like 5000 sq ft maybe....) I've seen cheaper things here in FL than there, 5 years ago I went house hunting and found a 1000sq ft lot with about a 950sq ft home for $99,000 considering a good salary is $500 a month fuck that.....
