Abscess or scar tissue? Neither?

I am taking ed shots and I noticed that I have a hard area under the skin (ass). It's not red or painful, but I can feel it if I run my hand across my ass. The hard area isn't round, it's like a pen cap under the skin.

Is this an abscess or scar tissue? Or could it be something else?

I'm starting the last week of my cycle monday, so the area has taken alot of shots, and I always clean the area w/ a shower and alc. swabs before injecting w/ a new needle.

I use 22g pins and rotate glutes and delts.

Doesn't sound like an infection...yet. Could be an encapsulated cyst of gear that has not dispersed, or scar tissue. Either way you need to watch it very carefuly. First sign of redness and/or pain, get to the doctor immediately!!!

YOu would know if it was an abcess.

Do you rotate sites?

I get that almost every time i inject in my delts , it goes away in a day or two
i wouldnt worry about it, mine even rashes, i just ice it and it goes down , youll know when to go to the doctor ( i hope)

Thanks guys!!! I do rotate right glute, left, right delt, left. I could barely walk when I tried quads.

Me too, especially when 1.5 cc or more. ITs not an abscess. I've had an abscess, You will know. Red, painfull over a larger area for a week or more, then fever. Not fun.
