Abs on off days?

We all agree that taking off every two days is essential. Your body has to rest in order to grow. I was wondering what you guys think about doing abs on off days. Cardio is done on off days but abs aren't exactly cardio. Just wanted your views on it and if you would just avoid any sort of resistance training on off days.
 
There's nothing wrong with that. A few leg raises won't tax your body that much so you might as well go for it while you are motivated.
