About to order from Proteinfactory

I'm looking for an inexpensive, all around protein powder (lo-carb). Does doing a 70% whey concentrate and 30% casseinate blend make sense from a price/quality perspective?

What I do is order their pre-made formulas. I bought 2 pounds breakfast, 2 pounds post-workout, 2 pounds night, and 4 pounds of their anabolic MRP.

That's 10 pounds total, and I payed about $65-70 total

I was looking at doing something like that, but I'd prefer to have one blend that's versatile, just for conveniance sake. What you're doing is probably ideal, but I'm rarely at home, so carrying around different ones might be more complicated than I'm ready for.

I hear ya bro...I'm in college, so i just have a few jugs laying around my room. I like having different shakes, because they all taste different, and mix differently. So it doesn't get monotonous.

Just spoke to him. Thanks for the advice. Will probably go with something like 70% WPC, 15% casseinate & 15% egg. He discouraged too high a casseinate content for taste and texture reasons.

I've heard very good things. Do a search on this board and you will find some info. Take the time to read from their webpage on the different proteins. I found the website informative and the prices are solid. You can customize the flavors and sweeteners and they seem to be fairly honest with their taste descriptions and mixability claims. To me, they are definately worth a try. Alex, the guy on the phone, is a pleasure to deal with.

I use the penta pro, it is very good mixing, and tasting if you get it wil splenda/flavor. I got an order yesterday, the night formula, a post workout protein blend, and malto/dextrose. the night came mixed with malto/dextrose!! I called, and they picked it up and resent for free. Good people.
