? about plat chat and other features

do any of them require flash or java scripts?

this is an important thing that i need to know. i'm considering a plat membership, however, i'm a non-programmer running Mandrake Linux 9.2 because i hate windows. i've got my java and flash plug-ins installed, but apparently not correctly because they don't work. kinda sucks. actually, it really sucks.

so if i need flash or java to work with some of the plat features, i'm kinda screwed, unless there's someone that can fix this mess, which i really don't expect anyone to do (lilo has given me slight probs since i upgraded from 9.1.....if i log in as root i can't really do crap.....but damn is this system stable )

I believe it's java. I'm no computer expert either.

Yes, its all one big happy java applet. Sometimes it barely works for IE users. But it has gotten a bit better.
