Abcess Advice needed...

Hey Fellas,

On the second to last shot of my cycle, I fucking got my first abcess (on my right delt). f_uck!

Don't have any pictures availible, but it is about 1 inch in diameter. No pain or sorness at all. The area is slightly pink, and feels soft and "squishy", due to the puss build up under the skin. The inject (tren ace) was done about 5 days ago.

Just two days ago I was able to remove 4 CC's of puss. (yeah that was gross), and it has since then come down in size about 75%, but still feels soft to the touch. I am sure there is some puss left.

Any advice from others who have experienced abcesses before?

Go see a doc asap? wait it out a couple more days?

Mike, Omega,

Thanks for the quick response. Since the draining of the puss 2 days ago, the inflamation has subsided. I'll wait it out till Monday and see what happens.

Hopefully it will pass...seems to be much better after I drained it.

You never know in this game so I play it safe…..I have yet to need them but I keep on hand Amoxicillin, Penicillin and Tetracycline. They are legal to purchase and very easy to get…. Hit me up if you want more info..

Get some Keflex. I just keep a bunch of keflex at home that way when a abcess happens i don't have to spend a fortune going to the doctor to have them give me Keflex. This is the same antibiotic a doctor will give you.

Id go see a Doc and get some antibiotics..

Why.... When ypu can get them yourself... No need to talk with the doc on how you got the infection... Keflex and inj Penicillin are also available no issues!!

My friend had an abcess in his shoulder many years ago. He did the same thing, tried to get the puss and everything out himself. Didnt want to go to the doctor. Long story short, almost lost his arm because of it. And why not tell the doctor how you got the abcess? Patient/doctor privelege for one, and they are there to help, not to call the cops because you used some test and got an infection. Poor advice telling him not to see a doctor.. No k for you!

Go pick up some antibiotics to be safe. I assume you heard the one about the guy who didnt go to the doctor and the infection spread to his heart and killed him?

Thats what everybody should be smuggling back to america from Mexico. Antibiotics like amoxycilina. That stuff comes in handy for many things.

That is nasty but I am sure getting rid of as much puss as possible is not a bad thing.

Tao are you sure that it is legal to get that stuff without a prescription??

Absolutely bro……… http://www.calvetsupply.com.. Kind of like research products
“ not intended for human consumption” But they come in “convenient pull apart capsules” LOL

If you are in a pinch any Petco has Penicillin and Tetracycline for sure...Look in the fish section!!

That’s ok bro…. You don’t have much K to give… I will hit you with some… Stand by!!

Oh… The deal with your doc is this…. If he annotates your usage of AAS and your insurance company gets a hold of your records (Yes… Very feasible) then it will be very difficult to get insurance again…

Admit nothing… Deny everything… Demand proof!!

I do have to agree with this. Patient/Doctor confidentiality goes only so far. Otherwise you would not have a "medical history" The last thing you want is that on your medical records. I even heard of a guy on this forum had a good friend of his a doctor do his blood work for him knowing why and his friend screwed him by mentioning that in his med files and it messed him up with insurance and he even mentioned that when he did get insurance that they had made him put in a specific exclusion due to his known use. Just say you ran into some wires or something.

Damn. This thread just scared me...hearing about people dying?! wow. I'm going to order some antibiotics tonite. (Thanks for the linky Tao!!!!!) In the meantime I'lll use hot compress like Mike suggested.

My computer is f-ed right now, so I can't spread K..but I will tonite. Thanks again for all the advice fellas.

Taoiron, Thats some of the best advice I've seen today. Never let your doc write down anything that will make your insurance company deny you coverage for treatment, Never!!!! You can tell your Doctor not to write something down and keep it off the record. Mine does!

Thanks for the k!!!!! I gambled all mine away in the bookie forum.. Im such a loser..

I do see what your saying, but I have always felt my health would be handled best if it was done by my doctor.. He hasnt done me wrong ever!

I dont have the best insurance, but it did cover my gyno surgery, and I can get scripts of test and gh paid for.. My doc is doing something right!

its not inflamed, for the next few days heat it for 15 minutes, put something cold on it for 15 minutes, do this a few times a day, and the odds are your body will re-absorb the shit back into your system, using a big pin, 21g or so, to draw whatever you can out will also help. I had a non infected absess that was a result of too much scar tissue, basically the oil couldnt be absorbed due to the scar tissue in my delt. Once I started poking at it, I started to get pus a few days later, I did the hot/cold treatment, and drained it a few more times, and it all went away
If it gets really hot and inflamed, get your ass to a doc

Great link bro, thanks, good idea. I got some kelflex today.

This is a good thread to bump for a while so people realize it could happen to anyone here and that there are very simple precautions we can and should take in order to be just as prepared for something like this as we are for gyno to occur!
