The prevailing mentality, at least on the training board, is that one should wait til one hits one's genetic plateau before using AAS.
My question is, why?
Well one answer is that a lifter should be experienced and know his or her body's response to diet and training before considering use. This I wholeheartedly agree with. You need to know how to maximize your growth while on cycle, you need to know how to use responsibly, and you need enough natural growth to appreciate AAS's effects
But, given those things, who cares whether or not someone waits until they naturally plateau? This can take many many years, and bigger you get the harder it is to gain, even if you're not near the limit.
If natural training isn't fulfilling your goals, then why not use?
I get the sense that people here are worried that the sooner someone uses, the sooner they can catch up to the resident juice veterans. Kind of a "no fair, I waited a while to use and so should they" mentality. Yet at the same time there are a lot of juicers here who aren't that big; obviously they didn't wait until they hit their natural potential before using.
It strikes me as hypocritical.
Please do respond, I want to hear people's opinions.
