AAS and vegatarians/vegans

i am interested too. there are people in my family that are vegitarians and on raw food diets, i dont really agree with them and i dont really see how you can have any body mass with a diet like that. Maybe somone can prove me wrong though
 
I could be very wrong but I swear I remember reading years ago that Jeremy Freeman was a vegitarian. His arms were never big enough to match the rest of him, but he was certainly massive.

not to sound like a food racist but I just dont have time for vegans. It is a ridiculous concept. Ridiculous all around. Whatever that makes me.
 
for a vegan, soy will become your best friend.

i'm not a vegitarian, maybe closer to the complete oppsite. I just like meat and chemicals.
 
There are some, even pros that are. Can't name any names off the top of my head though. I just remember reading about a few awhile back.

Same here...not that I have anything against Vegans....actually F*** it, I think they are complete psycho's! How can you not resist meat? I hate veggies with a passion, besides sweet potatos/mashed potatos/french fries (LOL some veggie huh?)

I'm sure with soy protein and enough juice you can have an incredible physique. You would probably get better results eating what you were made to eat though.

well im vegan and i dont intake any soy protein.. occasionally i have some whole sources if im out to eat but aside from that its limited.

my pwo is a mix of pea isolate, hemp and brown rice protein.

thats not entirely accurate.. humans have a much longer digestive system than carnivores and is more appropriate for plant nutrients, but not extremely low caloric, highly fiberous foods like grass as a staple. what it boils down to tho is that throughout human evolution, we've eaten just about anything we can get our hands on, thats how cooking came to be.

after like 2 or 3 months without meat, you couldnt have paid me to go back. but im not a psycho about it, people can live however they want and their diets are the least of my concern. :p

i havent run into any problems related to my fitness goals from veganism.
 
Damn...I guess the human body is very adaptive and with enough training and supps and dedication, anything is possible.

I just can't stand veggies and I am in love with meat. Specifically any type of steak, but chicken and fish are great as well.

about the phyto-estrogens, its a funny thing.. the only studies that have them showing up are the studies done on american grown soy. and it just isnt going on in asia.. i mean if you think about it, half of asia would have gyno by now, but they dont, theyre not overweight either. so i dunno if its they way its grown or because of genetically modified soy in the west or what.

i know some guys who use soy protein isolate pwo and are fine, but i dont fuck with it. there are plenty of protein sources available that dont have sketchy info surrounding them. i used to use whey pwo, back in the day but now i avoid dairy too.
