Well dont feel bad Im not an expert on sexuality like cognitive approach and Im sure that it is much more indepth than just pigeonholing someone as having a weak personality. Thats just some of the discussions I had with my research mentor on it and thats what he said, but he was a depression researcher who worked under Seligman but he was a genius nonetheless. I dont know really as it hasnt been area of interest for me.

Well, I think your researcher guy is wrong, I mean bi sexuality can sure be an outcome of depression or instability but it does not mean someone is unstable...
Its like saying fat people are fat because they are unstable people...
Or body builders feel the need to lift weights and look good because they are insecure... I mean do me a favour, they are all valid points but in like the 0.7% of the cases ...

Anyway, my whole point and I am sure no one will understand this here is that it meant nothing. It did not mean I am bi sexual it just meant I was willing and open anough to try out something new. In my case I think I may be somewhat Bi, but I dunno, I am pretty disgusted of thinking of kissing another guy... I could suck a dick and have it sucked by another guy, but not kiss a guy... Strange huh? oh well, life is strange.

Yeah, I hear ya, those PHds, tenure and peer recognition awards are given out like candy nowaday, I dont know why they reported any of his research on CNN to be honest b/c he was usually wrong.
I cant argue with your logic b/c its too simplistic, but Im sure theres a valid argument somewhere in there.
So how does your model bisexuality square with the model of gay by nature, is it an either/or type of thing in your model or is it a learned behavior that can be turned on and off?

LOL, I am just open sexually man. Most my friends are DED straight, I have some friends that are bi or gay but my closest friends as it turns out are all straight.
It really is not a big deal, I barely think about it, I am sooo turned on by woman, but like once in a blue moon I will see a guy who actually does something for me, it happens so rarely coz I think for a guy to actually atract me he has to be something very specific Plus the situation has to be specific...

I didn't, I mentioned it off hand saying I hasd experimented and BRR went kinda crazy and demanded an explanation. AAP wasn't being co-operative at that point anyway so I went with the flow hoping that this thread would liven up a bit, but it didn't much Plus I still have no idea if AAP is gay/bi/homophobe

If I had to lay money on it and I found out on some thread that he used to be Hansel as an alter, then if my memory serves me Hansel was not gay, at least in the way he posted. So I would put my money on straight and that he was just messing with peoples minds a bit. Sorta like what I think you are doing. Sorta what I do with talking about meeting aliens in the spirit world. Just having some fun watching the reactions.
