A student at work has threatened to hit me.

He told my coworker that he didn't want me saying anything to him or he was gonna hit me. hmmmmmmm. This could get interesting. I certainly don't want or need this kind of trouble, but I'm not backing down from doing my job either. My co-worker informer the guy that he would go down for assault and battery of an officer and that (my co-worker) would come to my aid if necessary. I've never been directly threatened on the job. This dude is very big, I doubt anything will happen though. Most times, people are just mouthing.

It kind of pisses me off, but I should just consider the source. I was actually trying to be nice to the guy because he had an attitude. Normally, I just inform them of the rules very directly (because they already know) and go on my way. This guy got mouthy with me, so I explained the reason for the rule and told him that I didn't make the rules, but that I had to enforce them and if he had a problem to go and see the director of the school.

Just tell your coworker that if the situation comes down to it you will "defend yourself to the full extent of the law and then prosecute"

I have never lost a fight to someone bigger then me. In general, bigger guys are not tested in life. They get by on idle threats because their size intimidates everyone.

. . .ummm. . .dude. . .you're a monster. . .you're bigger than almost every linebacker in the nfl. . .there are two, maybe three guys at my gym that are larger than you (two 300's and a 270). . .not counting the fat-asses. . .you'd have to look hard to find someone bigger than you to fight with. . . :worried:

I prefer fighting big dudes.

Fighting someone bigger only means I get to punch you more times before you get knocked the f out, which makes it more entertaining for me.

sweetie, I wouldn't count the two beers I had with a penis wrestle match. Besides, the only reason it took me so damn long to get a hold of it is because I had to find it. Not an easy task with two bottles of budlight and a martini in my hands. Has anyone ever told you that, that thing just isn't normal?

Invite him over to your house for some beers, when he comes over shoot him and tell the cops he came to your house after threatening you at work. Self defense. Problem solved.

This guy is around 300, huge but very slow looking. I don't want to fight, but if I have to defend myself, I think I'd have a good chance.

LOL @ the big guys that think they will always win based on their size. I've had a few fights here and there and the funny thing is, I beat the big guys every time. It's the little ones that feel no pain and their tiny fists of hate and discontent that suck. FYI, I'm one of those little guys. Kinda like a pitbull. It's not a big dog and yet it is hands down the most feared. As the old saying goes, it's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog.

I don't assume it, I'm just speaking from my own personal experience. Maybe other "bigger" guys can't fight. That is their own issue. I don't care. I was a bouncer for a few years. I've been in more than my fair share of fights. Have I ever lost? No. I found it amusing how it was always the little guys that felt they had something to prove by challenging a bigger guy. The whole saying of "it's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog" eventually reaches a breaking point of diminishing returns, assuming similar skill levels, of course...

To make the statement that you never lost a fight speaks volumes. EVERYONE has lost a fight in their lifetime. You are a liar. A BIG liar. :)

Regardless of size is the mental aspect of it all. I don't ever look for fights, that is my last resort. Fights even if won still hurt physically...at least your fist anyways. lol Oh well, pointless argument here.

I never lost a fight as a bouncer. Before that, yeah, Ive lost fights. I'm talking recent history, not some high school bullshit from 10 years ago. Think what you want. I could care less if you believe me.
 
i've been in at least 100 fights in my day, and i'd rather fight bigger guys, and i am a bigger guy, but bigger guys are usually as said before, not as bad as some little guys. some little guys are pussies, some though hit harder than any big guy, one little guy punched me 7 times once before i even realized i was getting hit, it hurt to eat food for a month. little prick, i did kick his ass after this, but he racked my fucking head. i've been supermanned by big guys and it never feels as hard to me as some little bastards.

as you know I work labour disputes as part of my job and when im on a pickit line i get threatened all the time,usually by big fuckers,but I stand my ground and nothing ever happens,they usually just want to intimidate you.

it happened today infact and buddy told me the hotel we are staying at etc,I said fuck why wait until im at the hotel when im right here in your fucking face asshole,he got mad and stormed off. the end
 
Some so-called little guys really can hit very hard and take a good deal of punishment.

Some big guys are slow and pansies because everyone steers clear of their path.

Well um, most little guys regardless are gonna get knocked the fuck out or super manned hard.

Kinda hard to top that with a fist.

As for the original poster, let him no you aren't scared of his highschool bully bullshit regardless of his threatening size and appearance. If he gets in your face, keep calm. That's about all I can say. I could give you some lame ass advice about how to fight him if he were to attack you from said direction with said attack, but the best real world advice I can give you is stay calm and don't hate the guy for hating you.

If he has even one iota of moral reason in him, he will eventually at the very least give up on his lame attempt at intimidation and just leave you alone.
