A Serious Ask For Help

As most of you know I spent 10 days in the hospital recently. Well all of my symptoms are returning and it looks like I maybe going back in. They are gonna do a special test with a scope and a chip down my mouth and into my pancreas to search for blockage or damage. I've been told in Texas a doctor in San Antonio who will perform this new procedure is the only one who does this.

At the same time my liver enzymes continue to rise even more than when I waqs in the hospital. I was exposed to but don't have hep c and don't have hep a or b and have taken shots for both. My hep c values are undetectable.

I am becoming incresingly depressed and can't understand why this is happening. My doctors are also. Does anybody know of any medical web sights other than webmd.com where I can post or ask questions to see what maybe going on? I have faith in my doctors and my main one really does care and my other half works for her but at the same time I want to be able to ask others or see if others have gone through this.

As proud as I am yes its a disease and thats hard to say for me but it has nothing to do with steriod use. Fact is I have now been off for a month and left the hospital 10 pounds lighter and hurting but with perfect blood test. The test I had done this past Tuesday show everything returning and the pain I am in is very sever that I need to take morphine tabs that dissolve under my tongue to control it. No way to live but until my doctors tell me whats next its how I live.

Hi flex, sorry to hear its coming back! Do you have pancreatitus? spelled wrong im sure, but anyway somebody i know has that and it is very painful he has alot of attacks! I will ask him what the disease is and signs of having it because the DR is dumbfounded by what the exact problem is! GOOD LUCK!!!!

I had it at 16 years old after I ruptured my pancreas not fun at all.

My exact problem. If it does rupture I will die as my gall bladder is gone. It is acute pancreatitis and from what they say the bile overflows and infects my liver. Hurts like hell with today being the worse. The only way to fix is is hospital or this scope to search. Trying to push them to get scope done asap as I was supposed to go on vacation for 12 days June 27th. But with this like my contest I won't go. Life sucks right now which I am sure will others on a different board very happy.

Flexed, don't worry about those assholes over there. Those are just some sad people who seem to get enjoyment out of other people's pain. For some reason there are people like that in the world, I can't tell you why they are like that, they just are.

Flexed, we dont know each other, but from your posts i have read you a very sincere and knowlegeable person. I think you are a big asset to this board certainly. There are unfortunately many jackasses in this world, but please dont allow these people to hurt your spirits. When people like this are in need of help there is often no friends there to give them support. I see that you have many!
