Goodbye
As long as you see a star
My love for you is never too far.

For the door of my heart will always remain
And my feelings for you will never change.

But until our paths join again
we can't continue this journey as friends.

A family, a future, I wanted with you
And it aches my soul because it won't come true.

It hurts I couldn't ask you to be my wife
It hurts we've moved to live our separate life.

I can't bring you back with my oceans of tears
Yet I can't let you go because of my undying fears.

So in the shadows I stand
Saying goodbye with an open hand.

My eyes focus on you as I walk away
Silently whispering.....One Day, One Day.

wow, thats exactly how i felt about a girl im good friends with now. i no longer feel that way, but that is exactly how it was.
